@GriffMeister I don't think there will be because with Greek the names are fairly similar to Roman names and it is discernable. With ancient Indian however, the names are completely different and will be hard to discern.

So there won't be a version in any of the ancient Indian languages then?

@Bright you are absolutely correct!

I mis-typed. A lot of Indians themselves "didn't" know Sanskrit.
Also the dialect of the Mauryans wasn't Sanksrit. Sanskrit was used by the priestly class to conduct religious rituals. While the rulers would have been educated on Sanskrit, the common folk and dialect used would be the spoken language of Magadhi Prakrit.

Sanskrit it self is considered the language of gods in india only vedic families are known to have extensive understanding of it.

Don't think so not a lot of Indians themselves know Sanskrit
also the Lingua franca was Prakrit

Is there going to be a version of this mod that attempts to label the map in actual Sanskrit? Like the ancient Greek mod?

Adjusted the fonts so that the strike above the words is continuous in line with the Indic Devanagiri script.
