Newtonian Physgun

Description
Adds a F=MA compliant physics gun. Can be found in the Weapons > Other section of the spawnmenu.

Features
  • The world, props, npcs and even other players can be grabbed.
  • Picking up an object will also apply force to the player.
  • Objects that can't be moved through collisions (the world, frozen props, grounded npcs, noclipping players, etc.) are considered very heavy.
  • For servers that use prop protection that integrates CPPI, permissions will be respected.

Client Convars

newtphysgun_maxrange - The maximum range of the newtonian physgun

newtphysgun_wheelspeed - The sensitivity of wheel scrolling with the newtonian physgun

newtphysgun_freeze - Should the newtonian physgun freeze/unfreeze like the normal physgun

So..The more force you apply to an object, the greater its acceleration will be. If you push a cart harder, it speeds up faster

F represents Net Force: This is the total, unbalanced force acting on an object. Force is a vector quantity, meaning it has both magnitude and direction, and its unit is the Newton (N).
represents Mass: This is a measure of an object's inertia, or its resistance to changes in motion. Mass is a scalar quantity (only magnitude), and its unit is kilograms (kg). (If you didnt somehow know what M stood for..)
A represents Acceleration: This is the rate at which an object's velocity changes (either in speed, direction, or both). Acceleration is also a vector quantity, and its unit is meters per second squared (m/s 2)
