LH-537 Heavy Salvage Hauler

The LH-537 Heavy Salvage Hauler is a multi-person freighter designed for salvage operations in high-risk zones. It incorporates a primary pressurized area for larger pieces of salvage, a pair of large Industrial Cargo Containers for storage, an auxiliary hangar designed for smaller craft like the LS-7 Salvage Tug, (4) Gatling Turrets for defense against smaller ships and active defense systems, and a pair of jump drives for quick escapes.

The vessel is comprised of two pressurized sections; the first includes the main salvage hangar and lower auxiliary hangar. The main hangar measures slightly more than 4 x 3 x 7. It contains (4) connectors for docking smaller ships and drones and for quick inventory access. This section is surrounded by multiple layers of thick armor to support usage in high-risk salvage operations, and is underslung by the auxiliary hangar designed to support an LS-7 Salvage Tug.

The second section contains the living quarters and operations center. The operations center overlooks the main hangar bay and has basic living accommodations. This section overlaps with the bridge deck overlooking the dorsal hull, which provides wide sweeping views of the ship’s forward arc.
