Hello Everyone!!

The Great Revision became a Series!

After the release of the main mod TGR, we received a lot of feedback from the community, so we decided to create a "Series" taking all the features present in The Great Revision, and split in several mini-mod, to allow the players to decide themself which feature apply in full freedom!

I hope you will enjoy TGR, and Thank you guys for the support!
"NEW TAXATION SYSTEM" MOD REPLACED THIS OLD ONE

EPISODE 3 - TAXATION REFORM & TAX DEPARTMENT
After the Economy, now it's time to change the Government!

With this new feature you can now apply different types of taxes to different classes of Pops!
After around 30 days from the start, a trigger will enact the new "Taxation Department Act" that will allow you to manage in freedom your taxes through a new specific building: "Tax Department".

This building give you the possibility to apply different level of taxation for:
-Land Taxes
-Per Capita Taxes
-Income Taxes
-Dividend Taxes

Almost all Nations start already with "Tax Department", but for the other Minor Nations you have to unlock the "Identification Documents" Technology.
Tax Department is also strictly connected with the Capital: if you change your Capital the Tax Department will be removed, and so you need to build a new Tax department in your new Capital.

So now it's all up to you! Which Government will you be? A Conservative and traditional Government or a Progressive and Egalitarian Government?

Great mod, just a little hiccup. Government tends to petition you to pass certain laws, in my case, Graduate Taxation, and I can't really do that, because the mod will no longer work.

Hi @Matthew!

It's very very strange because for this mod i created a specific ideology for each IG named "Fiscal Reform".
Do you see it if you open any IG tab?

if not most probably you have some coonflict with other mods. In other case i wouldn't know why you have this issue.

been having an issue where changing the new laws that this mod implements is impossible since no IG has a stance on them, they are all neutral

Hi @AscendingPhoenix.

It's the expected behavior, because the tax dep is only for the player. AI will continue to use the Vanilla taxation system.

I noticed in observation mode that the AI disbands its tax departments. Will this cause any problems? Or is that expected behavior?

Hi @Bunraz!

Yes, rebuild the tax department was intended, but in future i could create an event to build automatically the tax dep when the capital change. thank for the suggest, good idea! :)
