Skyrim Bow Pack

In 1 collection by Double C
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Mods
9 items
Description
All the "Normal" Bows from the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Includes 15 bows, which are:

Long bow
Hunting bow
Ancient Nord bow
Imperial bow
Orcish bow
Dwarven bow
Falmer bow
Forsworn bow
Elven bow
Nordic bow
Glass bow
Ebony bow
Stalhrim bow
Daedric bow
Dragonbone bow

Balancing for Vanilla Combat (Non-Combat Extended AKA CE) is balanced for the damage of the bow in Skyrim, not the arrows. The list above reflects the damage, the top being the lowest damage, and the bottom being the highest.

Do note, in Vanilla and CE, the damage for the weapons listed higher are quite strong, but require a pawn to have great crafting skills.

Finally, all my mods which are Elder Scrolls related are CE compatible. Please feel free to check out my other mods in the collection, or on my profile.

For Balancing in CE, the bows do have bonuses to using the higher tiers, such as higher range and quicker shots, however the damage comes from the arrows, which I have also added. There are 13 arrow types, and they are listed below from lowest to highest:

Falmer
Forsworn
Iron
Ancient Nord
Orcish
Dwarven
Nordic
Elven
Glass
Ebony
Stalhrim
Daedric
Dragonbone

For non-ammo users, bows will use the corresponding arrow. So the Falmer bow uses the Falmer arrow, and is the weakest in terms of damage, however, still obtains the range and speed bonuses.

Uses art from Combat Extended as a base for arrow textures, Thank you CE Team for all you do.

Can be added mid-save!

Feel free to donate on Ko-fi below, have a lovely day!

@Rizzle tizzle I have updated the bows to be 0.55,1.0 drawSize, thank you for the recommendation!

A quick fix that seems to work fairly well is to change to <drawSize>0.5,1.0</drawSize> for each bow in the XML.

Hi there, love the art style but all of the textures as squashed in-game. Not sure what mod could be responsible - doesn't seem like any incompatibility could do that. Could it be that it's because the images are saved with longer height than width and the game squashes the image to account for that? If that's the case, is there any work around?

@(≡◉‿‿◉≡) After running the mod with Yayo's Combat 3 (Continued), I had no issues with shooting in groups. There is a high chance another mod in your modlist may be interacting in a way it shouldn't with Yayo's Combat, but this mod seems to work fine with it. Just make sure all your archers have arrows if you are using the ammo system

I don't use CE just yayo

@(≡◉‿‿◉≡) Are you using CE? I do know in CE they do not fire if they have another pawn in the way. Nothing in this these mods edit pawn behavior or alter any files, only adds items, so I couldn't imagine it's this mod that is the problem. Is the problem only with Imperial bows? Are you using any mods that may conflict with CE? (assuming you are using it)

@Double C hello, found a bug with the imperial bow but with no errors. When you have a group of archers with imperial bows and manually attack someone. Only one of them attack and the rest are staying still., even if they're in range of target.

Hm, I'm not sure. Maybe try verifying the game files?

Double C  [author] 2 Feb @ 10:46am
@Breegan does the mod work with just CE + requirements and the mod? Are you using any translations?
