CA-1N - Vanilla

Description
The CA-1N is a cutting edge scout vessel designed to plunge the deepest depths of Europa.
Sporting the latest in drone technology grants this vessel an almost unrivaled adaptability in combat while salvaged alien tech has been repurposed to enable a, temporary, boost to engine power!



While equipped with a few point defense turrets, its main firepower stems from its Mobile Adaptive Turret System. The MATS allows the crew to position its main guns where required. Both Turret systems consist of a double coilgun and the ability to fire a single railgun shell before reloading.



Engineering experiment gone wrong, the overdrive mechanism allows the captain to massively increase engine power for a few seconds. Beware! Using the overdrive and going max speed will put tremendous strain on the engines.



And lastly for crew deployment, this vessel comes with two controllable SCID's to further facilitate exploratory efforts. These SCIDS can either be piloted directly or controlled remotely making retrieval of these precious vessels a cinch in case of unfortunate accidents.

Some notes about the lesser systems in the sub :

- Smart door system :

The doors and hatches in this submarine are always open unless they detect fire , water or a monster in the adjacent rooms. This vastly increases response times to the affected area's in the ship.
Once a door is triggered, they will close and the override buttons next to the door will activate. These will open the door for 3 seconds. Bots can use these buttons when needed.

- Ship modes:

A button in the cockpit allows the captain to switch the submarine between normal and travel mode.
Normal mode disables the smaller auxilary engine and somewhat limits the output on the large engine in order to free up energy for the other systems such as weapons and all manner of utility such as fabricators and oxygen shelves. Top speed in this mode is around 15km/h
Travel Mode disables all fabricators , battery charging and weapon charging in order to free up as much energy as possible for the engines. Top speed in this mode is around 25km/h

Surge Battery :

In the electrical area you will find a battery whose purpose it is to catch power surges to a certain degree.
If the powergrid is being stressed by overvoltage then the battery will create an adequate load on the grid to prevent excessive damage to the powergrid. The battery will automatically drain over time.
This is not a prevent all overvoltage system! do not push it!

Tested the sub personally as much as i could but it is inevitable i missed things here and there.

If certain functions are not clear make sure you open the submarine in the editor. I added quite a few personal notes around the submarine to explain what does what and most, if not all , buttons/switches have an ingame tooltip saying what they do.

And also a question, what are these turrets in the submarine selection list, this is the first time I see something like this. I have never seen anything like this in the dozens of submarines I have viewed

No issues with this thing so far, Just wanna say the level of detail on this thing is SO AWESOME, and the fabricators are insane dude this is truly a masterclass of sub design

How exactly does the over volt protection work as I plugged signal 1 and 2 into power and load on a junction and the battery constantly charges, does it have to be pluged into the reactor directly?
