Description

Frostbite is a simple mod which introduces a new mechanic, a temperature meter.
Staying in cold biomes will slowly freeze you and lingering in hot biomes will cook you until you suffer from severe heatstroke!

Spells like Torch and Circle of Stillness affect temperature as well as items like the kiuskivi.
Various stains can affect your temperature as well, such as water significantly accelerating the heat transmission process!

Stay warm, try not to overheat and enjoy staving off Frostbite!

39 degrees is freezing? What is this mod, using some kind of mentally challenged units of temperature?

Imagine a Coldblooded mod/Reptile scales mod that has you go for heat to bask in the heat energy making heals better and you are at full movement capability and avoid cold or else you get slower and healing spells/perks/items/misc have less efffectiveness then ambient normal temp is just fine

i have a question: how compatible is this mod with things like map and enemy expansions, that don't add any new items which may mess with compatibility directly but just work with existing mechanics, or even just benign stuff like "inventory bags", "items work in inventory", or "better polymorph" ? is there a typical type of mod that tends to conflict with this mod, and are there types of mods that by nature tend to "stay out of the way" of this mod? this mod is super cool and adds a whole new dimension to both vanilla and modded content, a great compliment to everything the game has to offer. so it would be great to have more of a perspective on exactly what modded content i can actually play this mod with, and im sure my fellow noita modders would greatly appreciate it as well.

watch out, Nintendo might sue you for copying the temperature effects in breath of the wild

This mod has innate compatibility with apotheosis but otherwise modders need to implement compatibility on their own end.

I believe Copis Things and Grahams Things have already implemented compatibility with frostbite.
