Description


A submarine I made because I want to, if people actually enjoy this I may decide to make more like it.
I also may use this in my own campaign

Submarine info:
Type: Attack
Price: 32500
Tier: 3
Crew: 7-12
At least 3-4 experienced crew recommended. 1-2 bots are recommended for repairs on this sub due to the size.

This sub uses a unique railgun design.
The railgun fires 2 shots almost instantly and reloads after 2 seconds, BUT it must be loaded by a manual loader near the breach. Similarly to a tank like the M1 Abrams. You can load it by yourself, but it takes longer. Teamwork is highly recommended. Bots are able to reload for you, but they take longer then a human does.

It also has HuskOS integration with custom commands to control the submarine's systems.
You can add your own ingame.

This sub has not been tested in a campaign, be warned. I have tested it 3 times in missions and ironed out the simple bugs. Let me know of any issues.

Should be fixed now, the access was an issue that I thought I had fixed but it was only fixed on the regular version. The pathing is just me forgetting to mark the doors as doors.

as medical doctor i cannot use the buttons on the outside of the medical door (the door between the med fab and the hospital bed)

on the HE version of the sub bots cannot open the doors to get to the ballast or kitchen (waypoints) captain, medics cannot open/access the door to access the bed or any locked medical containers

Also, I did some testing and bots are traversing the Engineering ladder completely fine for me.
I found an issue where bots couldn't reach the reactor though

@jasii do you mind installing mods? as edits i made are now on custom version of your sub if wanna see the edits freind request me abd you can down load the edit

the ladder in engineering will stop bots cold

i play with my best mate he does driveing and shooting and i do fabbing shooting and medic
bots keep the ship running

Would you mind sharing how you improved the AI? In my tests they had no issues. The intent isn't to be fully AI compatible, since its supposed to be designed around teamwork, but having the functionality would improve it a lot, especially considering the vast majority of people play single player.

If you have any feedback about HuskOS, let me know as I made that myself. Its intended to be similar to Linux so it being very complicated is to be expected. You do not *need* to use the terminal ingame to use the submarine, its more of an addon that lets you do a little more in a unique way.

great sub!!! had to make heavy edits too waypoints and railgun magazines for bots to be able to reload both guns 100% of time in my games i tend to run 3/4 guns my self bots do the reloading
price is good too not sure about the husk os yet

Also, just found an issue where there was a gap on the door, no idea why it was there. For now when you are flooding the prison, close the door outside it. This will be fixed on newer versions.

I added a video to the workshop page that shows how it works. You need to flip a switch in command AND the brig and then you need the red ID card found in the captains locker. You then press the button. The periscope is to aim it if you are using a railgun shell instead of a canister shell. The periscope does not have a trigger out.
As for the drowning system, the issue with it was it was not wired to a power source (fixed in a recent update). You can fix this by wiring it up to one of the junction boxes or relay components in electrical.

how do you get the brig execution to work? we tried shooting the railgun with the lock on and off alongside the button and nothing ever happened. also the drown button wasnt increasing the water level
