Description
What is Strategic Improvement(SI)?
It is an expansive mod made by a dedicated French team over 10 years. It has Galactic Conquests spanning from the Clone Wars to the New Jedi Order. SI contains many new units, planets, and factions to explroe. The galactic economy is slow paced and structures take up Pop. Capturing a planet will likely reward you with a free space or land structure. Ground companies are larger and the scale lowered to make battles feel more like a warzone instead of a skirmish. New secondary structures and indigenous units can shift the tide of battle. Base shields prevent hover units from passing through. Reinforcement points can build support structures. Bombing Runs and Bombardments will damage your own units. A lot of land structures can be captured, garrisoned, and destroyed. STEAMMOD=3350521733

Why 1.4.1D+?
For those who have played or followed the mod/team, the latest version is 1.4D. It was completely in French (text and dialogue). It's fun and easier to get into as an experienced player, but the language barrier would make it harder for newer players to enjoy. Thanks to Imperial, Kad Venku, and 1138, most of the text in-game has been translated to English.

What lies ahead?:
The mod stopped development in 2021 and the Forum is mostly defunct. I hope that the community enjoys the mod and there will be minor bug-fixes in the future. i got a question about the birth of rebellion campaign, on the mission battle of kamino how do i send general Kota and the deliverance to kamino as the planet seems locked and unreachable?

The death of heroes is permanent and will not be changed because the current team are not the creators of the mod, they simply put it back into operation and are taking care of fixing the bugs.

Great mod. One thing is that my heroes no longer respawn. Is this intentional by the mod team or a bug? If a permanent hero death is part of the game, could it please be made possible to reintroduce hero return or include it as a selectable setting for Galaxy Conquest? I think the iconic heroes and villains are an important part of Star Wars and it would be nice if they would reappear in Galaxy Conquest after a while, maybe 5 weeks or so, or if they could be re-recruited for credits, which would increase the fun for me and probably a few other people. For me, heroes and villains who can duel each other repeatedly in the game is a great thing. Thank you very much and respect for your work.

also i notice you cant switch filters for the separatist for any campaign, stuck on space unit filter

In the original mod version there was a GC which progressed from the clonse wars to the latest era, through research. So you could for example use clones, like the 501st, which you recruited for example in the civil war or after unless they die. Would it be possible to add this again?
