Description
Tz'arkan Whispers
This is a copy of a mod I made for Warhammer 2. The code changed very slightly in Warhammer 3 but I updated it accordingly.

Malus Darkblade has a problem. The demon who is struggling to take control of his body is awfully silent. This mod fixes that.

What this mod does:
  • Causes Malus to receive three "Tz'arkan Whispers" quests at the beginning of turn 2
  • Causes Malus to receive "Tz'arkan" Whispers quests much more frequently throughout the campaign
  • If a quest with an ancillary reward is failed, the ancillary is added back to the list of potential rewards. If your goal is to collect them all fear not a failed mission!
  • Ancillary reward quests are more likely as long as there are still ancillaries rewards available

Why this mod:
I was at turn 60 of my Malus Darkblade campaign and had only received 2 whisper quests including the one you initially get at the start. I thought to myself this should be modded. It wasn't. (copy paste from WH2)

This mod is only incompatible with other mods that specifically edit the Tzarkan Whispers script file

This mod is save game compatible - however changes won't affect your game until you receive your next Tz'arkan quest

@oh_man - i would look in this file: wh2_dlc14_malus_sanity.lua
The Tzarkan Whispers file only deals with quest issuance

@david/waveshaper - you can expect a new quest 1-2 turns after the internal cooldown of the old quest expired. So if you get a 10 turn 'declare-war' mission it doesn't matter if you complete it on turn 1 or turn 10 the timer has to run out before a 2nd quest can be issued. I'm about to re-visit this code as i'm playing dark elves again so i'll probably push an update with a better explanation.

use LUA code compare website and paste both scripts then u can see precisely the differences
u can also compare and contrast between the mod and CA's vanilla script (these mods both use CA's scripts but modify it)

u can also compare and contrast TWW2 and TWW3's scripts to see wat CA changed between the games (file is called wh2_dlc14_tzarkans_whispers.lua

Could you provide a little more details about the exact numerical changes in the description? How often will we get whispers? Difficult to compare your mod to Tzarkan Whispers Revamped mod.

Hey, do you know what is responsible for the purple UI change and the actual whispering that happens. I am trying to dial in on that and figure out how it works timing wise.

People are reporting it never procs, but I do encounter it proccing sometimes. It's just very inconsistent. It's usually as frequent as once a minute, but one time I waited 8 minutes 37 seconds until it procced.

I want to implement Tzarkan's whispers for Snikch so it would be awesome if you could answer :3

No problem.

By default you have a ~52% chance for ancillaries a ~24% for both gold and slave rewards.

In my mod its 66% for ancillaries and 16.5% for both gold a slave rewards.
