Fortress Belem

Description
KF-Fortress_Belem

The Zed Killing Floor Universe can exist beyond time or dimension or location and is sometimes found on distant “Facing Worlds.” Zeds could spawn and attack you on the head of a pin or an oceanic passage in a universe far far away and long long ago. Pulse lasers in the 40 watt range can exist in the age of sail and cannon.

The exterior of the fortress and tower are somewhat matched to the actual fort although the entire structure is designed to allow good zed pathing throughout. The interior of the tower was hard to find the actual floor plan but, I found it to be very tight with narrow corridors and stairwells so our interior structure is changed to give the zeds maximum freedom of movement and open game play. The fortress battery area is close the to actual fortress feel with a little KF2 spin on things and fifteen collectibles.

Special thanks to Coroner and Dark Raszagal for play testing the map.

Map supports Endless and Survival modes with high player and zed numbers. Players receive full XP and scoring.

This map is closely based on the Belem Tower in Lisbon and also the inspiration for this map.
