Miao Ying QoL: Can capture in sieges (cap points).

Description
Allows Miao Ying limited ability to capture control points in sieges while in her human form only.
只允许苗英以人类形态 在攻城战中夺取控制点的有限能力。


Yuan Bo version.
Zhao Ming version.




She can't capture while flying in her dragon form, and her capture rate is very low, so I feel it is pretty fair. It made little sense to me that 1 unit of peasant spearmen vs 1 unit of peasant spearmen plus the daughter of a god, would result in a stalemate. Now it will ever so slightly tick up in Miao Yings' favour.

Basically, units have 5 capture values from lowest to highest. Human Miao Ying has the lowest, so this isn't a cheat mod - you can't just fly in, transform/land and quick cap points, it takes a minute, giving the AI plenty of time to adjust their strategy. Plus the inability to just take off like other flying units makes this mod exceedingly balanced (in my opinion).




Safe to add and remove at any time.

The mod is deliberately named beginning with !!, so that it loads late and overwrites any other broader scoped mod but ONLY the "land_unis_table" that it needs. The edits other mods make will still apply. Land Units table primarily deals with the melee attack and defend stats.

Working just fine for me.
It edits land_units table , which is a VERY common thing for mods to edit, so you likely have a conflict with other mods. Incredibly easy to put this mods effect into other mods, if you fancy opening that mod in RFPM.
