Ærelim (or just Erelim ) are considered one of the top most of the ten ranks or orders of angels. The Erelim are described as heroic warriors, brave angels who embody divine strength and courage. They act as protectors and warriors, ensuring that the cosmic order is maintained.

Erel: "Valiant Ones"

In some historical hierarchies, they are known to exist in the order just before the "Thrones", as well as consisting of the Thrones, speaking of the Throne of God, or God's highest Angels.
