The Mechanicum of Mars is the predecessor to the modern Adeptus Mechanicus, and is the sister empire to His Imperium of Mankind. For every bolter carried by the Legions, and every tank driven by the Guard, there was a Priest who guided its assembly. And now, this Priesthood arrives in Elysium- a large contingent of Martian forces, as well as their vassals, determined to remake Elysium in the image of their Holy Mars.

The Mechanicum primarily fields armies of mindless automatons, whether they be servitors or robots, equipped for the mass-annihilation of the Omnissiah's foes. They primarily collect gold, iron and gems. Of relatively major importance is conquering cities and towns- without doing such, they cannot gain vassals, and their vassal Magi are a major focal point of Mechanicum power in Elysium.

ToDo List:
- Named Characters
- Ordo Reductor
- Remaining Automata- Thanatar, Arlatax, Vulturax
- Onager Dunecrawler, Skorpius Disintegrator
- 30k Mechanicum vehicles- Krios, Karacnos and Triaros

Notes: This mod was tested primarily with a Monarchy map and wilder enabled. It is not recommended to have more than one Mechanicum player int he same game, as the Taghmata ritual will cause both players to benefit.

Though nobody in particular asked, I recently opened a Ko-Fi account- in case anyone wants to financially support my work, or to commission sprites and the like for their own projects:

It's future-proofing for a mechanic that I haven't finished yet. Once they're made, Explorators will provide blessing points via their excavations.

Is the "blessed" unit tag mostly cosmetic to keep with their religious theme? I couldn't find a way to actually upgrade the blessing.

Yes, it is intentional. They consume the raw resources of your habs and other assets to manufacture more advanced materials- iron and gems- to fund the Taghmata.

Are manufactorums supposed to provide iron or just trade? The text for them talks about iron

Titans are too large to fit the scale of CoE, and will not be added as long as 3x3 is the largest unit size. Knights will likely be added eventually- most likely the Magaera, Styrix and Moirax.

Could you add titans to that factions as tier 3 units? / and/ or add the titan legion as seperate faction/ and or add knights as their own faction?

After checking- it’s specified as a benefit of the Archmagos promotion, but isn’t specified on the Magos promotion.
Vorochi  [author] 20 Feb @ 7:57am
I think I specified it in the ritual description, but I will change it if I didn’t.

You cannot promote a second Magos until you have an Archmagos of any type. The hierarchy of the Mechanicum is very strict, and a Magos would never share power within their forge-fane.

Err... how does Enginseer promotion work? Can I use any gems or do i need a specific amount of specific gems? I have 82 gems, but I can't use Rites of the Macrotek,
