[ARY] Automatic Stump Chopping [1.5 - 1.6]

Beskrivelse
Arylice's Automatic Stump Chopping
#arylice #aryasc

Have you ever watched your lumberjacks chop down trees,
only for them to leave those annoying stumps behind,
and felt that urge to have everything perfectly tidy?
You wish they’d just finish the job completely?
This mod will solve this issue in an automatic way!

Safe to add, remove and change its custom settings mid-save!
You get the following options that you can enable or disable
anytime in-game:
  • Automatically Designate The Stump For Chopping
After cutting down an almost fully grown tall tree,
your worker will instantly designate the spawned stump
for chopping, which usually makes them chop down the stump
right away as it would be the closest next job to do!

  • Automatically Designate Blighted Plants For Cutting
Whenever your crops become blighted in the future,
the blighted plants will instantly designate themselves
to be cut down. This means even if the blight spreads
to other plants nearby, it will spawn with a cutting job
    on itself automatically!

  • Chopped Tall Trees Have Falling Visual Effect
For most tall trees almost fully grown, when they are chopped,
there will be a little visual effect of a falling tree
(almost like in Stardew Valley, but not really)!
This feature is not perfect, but it can be nice to look at!
Young and small trees will not have that small visual effect.

You also get Order buttons to chop and harvest more precisely:
  • Chop only stumps
(Stumps of special DLC trees included).
  • Chop only fully grown trees with a 100% growth
(Special DLC trees will not be marked).
  • Harvest only fully grown crops with a 100% growth.

This mod requires Harmony!
DLC are not required, but works well with them nonetheless!

Yup agree with guy below this mod is exactly what I was after. The auto stump chopping is nice but for me it's the added options for harvesting only fully grown plants/trees etc that makes this a must have mod for me. Thanks for the mod and updates

Hey! Just wanted to pop in and say that ever since I downloaded this mod I have exclusively used the added orders for managing plant cutting, I love the animations, and of course the automatic stump cutting is a life saver. It's a perfect package of a mod, so thank you for your work! :steamhappy:

I imagine there must be a way to insert a pawn toil *before* the upcoming one instead of clearing the list of toils so that the stump gets chopped, but the rest of the work list remains as it was.

Yeah seconding what @Nonpareille said.

The setting "Automatically designate the stump for chopping" is summarized as "trees will have their stump chopped right after being chopped" which is a *very* different thing from simple designation and disrupts the whole work queue.

Can you make the "Chop Fully Grown Trees" to not select to chop down the Anima tree? I selected the entire map and cut it down by mistake xD

Really like this mod, but since the 1.6 update it automatically clears any queue'd work or achtung's forced work the moment a pawn cuts a tree down, even if its just because its a tree in a planting zone, or in the way of a constructing building which makes it more frustrating than useful

And the path for 1.6 in loadFolders.xml is still pointing to the 1.5 folder!!! No wonder my patch wasn’t taking effect at all!!!!

The two designators, Designator_FullyGrownTreesChop and Designator_FullyGrownCropsChop , are duplicated with those added by the Allow Tool mod. Could you add a conditional check in your patch using the PatchOperationFindMod operator?

If I queue several trees to be chopped as a priority order, the pawn chops the first tree and the stump and then forgets about the rest of the priority queue. :Villein:
