Just Enough Client Tweaks (JECT)

Description
THIS MOD WILL CRASH WITHOUT MANUAL CONFIGURATION, READ THE SETUP INSTRUCTIONS
Huge shoutouts to Ultranova for making the logo!

Description
This mod is a library of minor visual tweaks that can be individually toggled. Every single tweak is fully multiplayer-compatible, meaning you can enable this mod and join the game of someone who doesn't have it enabled, or vice versa. The current list is as follows:
UI:
  • [SmallerEvaWarnings] Shrinks EVA crew's "O2" and "!" warning icons so they're a little less intrusive en masse.
  • [BrighterSpinalArcs] Makes "spinal" (or fixed-angle) weapons' range indicators much brighter, and thus more visible from a distance.
  • [DesaturatedBlueprints] Makes blueprints' and redprints' colors less intense, and removes their not-so-subtle flashing, both to make them easier on the eyes. Compatible with all modded parts.
  • [BlueFtlEfficiency] Changes the FTL efficiency overlay scale from Red→Green to Red→Light Blue, both because it makes more sense imo, and because it shows a bit more detail.
  • [AdditionalStats] Adds more esoteric part stats. Currently adds Impulse, and Recoil.
Environment:
  • [NoBackgrounds] Changes all backgrounds to pure black (primarily for competitive). Slightly improves loading times.
  • [NoPlanets] Removes all planet graphics (primarily for competitive). Moderately improves loading times.
  • [NoLightObfuscation] Removes roof lights' opaque light textures (but not fancy lighting), so they can't be used to hide things.
  • [NoTbObfuscation] Removes tractor beams' "warp" effect to make things underneath them easier to see.
  • [SharpNebulaEdges] Makes nebula visuals cut off exactly where their effects start, rather than being a bit nebulous (pun not intended, but welcome).
  • [SimpleNebulas] Simplifies nebula VFX to flat, dull background colors. Designed to work in combination with SharpNebulaEdges. May drastically improve performance on very old graphics cards.
Overhauls:
  • [VisibleMines] Armed mines' spinning lights are replaced with a much brighter, persistent ring, both making them far easier to see from a distance, and showing their exact detonation radius.
  • [ReshadedIons] Ions change color based on their strength, with each 2:1 merge being a single step up. May not work on very old graphics cards.
  • [NoVisualIonFalloff] Ions no longer visually shrink over distance. Designed to work in combination with ReshadedIons.
  • [ThinIons] Ions become extremely thin, and lose their glow. Designed for working on tight ion cores.
  • [ReshadedTbs] Tractor beams now interpolate between blue and red, for pull and push respectively. Compatible with NoTbObfuscation.
Text:
  • [OldDisruptors] Reverts "Disruptors" to their classic name, "Electro-Bolters".
  • [OldFlak] Reverts "Flak Arrays" to their classic name, "Flak Batteries".
  • [OldHyperdrives] Reverts "Hyperdrives" to their classic name, "FTL Drives".
  • [SmallMedLargeCrs] Replaces "Cockpit", "Control Room", and "Bridge" with "Small", "Medium", and "Large" "Control Rooms" respectively.
Misc:
  • [PostShaders] Adds a bunch of new post shaders to the game. Anything potentially dangerous to the photosensitive is marked with !s depending on severity.
  • [x10Zoom] Lets you zoom in 10x further in, and 10x further out. Currently due to a game engine oversight, this breaks background zoom.
  • [ClassicSfx] Reverts every sound effect that's been updated/changed since the start of modern.
Memes:
  • [BusNukes] Needs no introduction. Or, I guess if it needs introduction it's not worth using.
  • [CabbageReactors] Replaces reactors' explosion vfx with a picture of a cabbage. This took way too long. Please laugh.
  • [SuperShake] ""Slightly"" increases screen shake. Not recommended for the photosensitive. This is what normal gameplay looks like to those who play with screenshake off.

Setup
Currently the game doesn't natively support mods with settings, which I've worked around. Once subscribed, this mod should be installed at:
C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/799600/3363098474
Navigate there using file explorer, and open "Example JECT Settings.rules" in any text editor; it contains an (overly) in-depth tutorial on how the setup process works. I promise it's simple; all you're really doing is moving and tweaking a file, and there's ample instruction on what to do. This process does not involve anything nasty like messing with the game's data files; once setup is complete, it can be disabled or uninstalled like any other mod, and won't leave the base game affected.

As far as I can tell, unfortunately no.

Is it possible to add an extended UI scaling feature for playing on larger screens?

I love this mod, it has so many useful features! Took me a while to recover the game after enabling the "power outage" shader though.
