Description
Note : As of 12/23/24, certain missile code has been depreciated by the devs, changes have been made to WSR to bring them in line with said dev changes, but the dev changes are currently WIP so expect missiles to act a bit weird until these changes are further formalized by the devs.

A general overhaul of all in game units and systems to bring them in line with their as trialed and deployed performance.

Changes include but are not limited to,

Missile burn time
Missile range
Missile guidance performance
Missile payload
Round payload
Round MOA and dispersion
Proximity fuse range
Countermeasure count
Magazine capacity
Weapon rate of fire
Available loadouts

And much more

Compatible with :

More Weapons Mod - Load White Sands after this mod for MWM to take effect

Actual Soviet Vessel Designations - White Sands does not modify vessel names at this time, can load before White Sands

NTU - Load White Sands before this mod, NTU currently adds mostly it's own equipment, it along with it's PACT equivalent are fully compatible if WSR is loaded prior to both.

Realistic Damage - WSR does not modify the modules.ini file which any of the "ship health" mods do, thus all of them are comparable with WSR, you can load them before or after WSR

Mods that add new ships - WSR should be loaded first, but in most cases this should not matter as WSR does not modify ships themselves and mods that add new ships are self contained, thus, WSR should only add to them without issues.

Partially Incompatible with :

Weapon Names for Civilians - Weapon names are modified, load before White Sands to take effect, text will be missing from White Sands content

Realistic Radar - White Sands makes very similar changes to RCS, but also makes changes to IR emissions, can be loaded before White Sands to overwrite White Sand's changes but it is not needed

Incompatible with :

Issues :

AGM-65s from rotary wing aircraft require you to fly to exactly 1000 ft to launch, use the set altitude function to 1000 ft before giving the engagement command, this will allow the helicopter to properly engage targets.

Steam sometimes hates updating mods for Sea Power, if the mod seems to be having major, unexplained issues, unsubscribe from the mod, wait for the download bar to complete, and then re-subscribe. This fixes a number of common issues that arise when updates are pushed.

The mod is causing the KH-22 (AS-4) to not engage their target. Will you be able to update the mod anytime?

@nuclearstonk Given that I have not updated the mod in almost 3 months, yeah its out of date.

I'm currently not in a position to update it due to my work life, it will be updated when that is no longer a issue.

this mod is rather outdated with the most recent updates, i recommend looking into either updating this mod or reducing the amount of vestigal ini files that carry technical debt with prior game version bug fixes

@King Homer as of now everything should be functional for said patches, as stated I've got a number of IRL things going on which is keeping me from making updates for mods as of now.

@Alexander690 Odd given I did slightly increase the RCS size of all ASMs in general, I'll check it out and see if anything is wrong with it as of late.

I am sadly currently engaged with IRL dealings so updates in general to WSR may take a bit.
