A solid Combat steel shell, Sathium glass armored interior, a xeno steel under wing, a monumentally elaborate atrium, and the highest fine dining this side of the galaxy. Odessa is a dream to not only just imagine.

Odessa, a Greek city in what is now Ukraine, with the meaning "wrathful one." It takes the punches and gives them out. A prequel of Indominous. “Odessa” symbolizes strength, exploration, and tenacity.

It would be a great asset to have in Drone space due to its shear amount of armor, although you may want to adjust the base weapons. It has spots for numerous RE2 medium or heavy static weapons, and EMP cruise missiles would work very nice. It has a 74,130 shield right off the start, and it can fit all of the shield pieces except 2 Advanced. It has a lot of combat steel and xeno to pump up the shield, and can fit a large Fusion generator (comes with a small) for faster recharge rate. Follow the "Battle Ready Guides" for even more destructive power!




For those of you that would like to transform this ship into its most battle ready at the current Level of cpu, heres what to do!:

Remove the multi turret and fill its space with blocks (combat would match the type already there)

Remove the Advanced thruster from both sides and upgrade the Drive thrusters from both sides to Antimatter

Remove the top Advanced thrusters and replace with 2 large antimatter thrusters in place of each, then remove the medium thrusters from the front top and replace with 1 medium antimatter thruster in place of the 3 that were there.

Get rid of the front deconstructors and 1 Advanced Constructor and put a deconstructor in the place of the old advanced constructor ( or leave it out if you dont care to have a deconstructor)

Then put 2 medium plasma cannon weapons on each side, switch out the plasma turrets and lasers for 4 gamma modulated turrets and one sentinel flak turret on each side. (or 3 gamma and 1 medium XRay turrets if you want. Play around with these turrets to get the most amount of shield destruction possible, especially if you get rid of the deconstructor or any other constructor for more CPU. You can also play around with this combination of turret type and an EMP cruise missile launcher if you have that possibility). Sentinel Flak should go on the back top. You can also use other "drone defense" turrets in place of that turret (But I think its the best one).

Get rid of the second repair station and the small constructors to lower CPU even more, or leave out the deconstructor and only have the Advanced constructor and the Univeral, you'll be able to fit 2 Medium X-ray and 2 Light Gamma turrets without the deconstructor.

And remove one of each of the large (basic) shield parts (Should still be ~70,000 shields after this)

Dont forget to add new thrusters to "Energy Save2" to include them in the Smart Landing Feature

There you have it, it will be able to take on Legacy Infectors with these upgrades


A Dual Plasma Cannon can fit in the forward thrust area in case of damage risk on the side

A good idea to remove one of the side large thrusters and just upgrade the other to anti matter, to save on cpu and have better side movement

"MJ" pink cylinder is a Micro Jump drive placement

Your Block work, Texture and Design are top notch! Ive looked at five of your Cv all great. But this Cv Is more Form than Function. To easy for a old man like me to get lost in. Still looks Great.

Haha Thanks! Which part? Honestly I feel as if I'll never make another ship on the same level as Odessa or Indominus (maybe I'm being apprehensive, maybe just unsure of the future). I really hope that my next ships are top level. You never know until you put them up on the workshop. I have another CV that will be making its debut on here in a week or so. I guess time will tell...

I'd love to do a building Youtube video, but I take my sweet ass time and get inspiration slowly, unlike the other Youtubers that can pump them out in 3 or 4 streams. My process is too long and I start other ships. I tend to have like 3-4 ships on the go, and sometimes I get deep into a build just to realize that it wouldn't work, so I have like 4 ships 3/4 of the way done that may never be seen.

Its such an art form, and everyone has a different process I suppose. Just don't feel bad for making a ship and then hating it and wanting to start over. Of those ships that may never see the workshop, I still use the really creative parts of them on other builds. So I have a "pallet" of areas / sections / LCD's from different ships that, in their entirety, are unusable (possibly due to new RE updates, or just trying new ideas out, etc). Inspiration comes in all forms my friend! I also get inspiration from parts of all sorts of Sci fi ships. Just parts sometimes. Certain style choices of a ship here, a ship there. Empyrion doesn't have the breadth of blocks to pull off a lot of Sci fi ships in their entirety.
