Description
WARNING IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DISABLE ALL ASSETS THAT EDITS skill_manifest/skill.cfg! To avoid conflicts with difficulty and such.

Plot:
"Almost a decade after the Black Mesa incident, which opened the Portal Storms, you find yourself trying to cope with their aftermath.

Creatures seem to appear from nothing and come without warning. It is during this time that you find yourself in your apartment.

A strange, suited man appeared in your dreams and having no idea whats going on, all you can do is to try and stay alive."


Dialog Captions still not displaying due to Valve haven't added a mountfix for custom captions. Aka .dat file


Known NPC bugs: Will try to replace the zombine with armored_zombie.mdl like it was in the 1187 (Without it pulling the grenade) Same goes with Barnacles killing John and doesn't give AllyDead Message

@odenthal5 tell you what I can just make it so soldiers will keep respawning and stops spawning when you dealt with the 3 Apaches (When those are dead I will make sure any remaining soldiers will be deleted once that is done)

@CP Unit - I've just finished it right now. Problems: On Hard the Vortigaunts kill us with 2 hits. The level design usually has them spawning in front and back with no defensible positions, it's a quickloading fest. On Hard also if there are too many soldiers it's too much, they are spongy as elite combine and overhelm the player even on good defense positions. On the Apache level the soldiers are X-ray vision seeing us beyond the fog. Also on the Apache level it's not indicated that we have to kill every last soldiers apart from those that keep respawning at the APC, as well as every last zombie hiding in nooks and cranies. It seemed as thought shooting down the 3 Apaches would 'activate' the AI buddy to fight the rest of the level with us. Also, in the key hunt in the mansion, one of the keys is not where it's supposed to be (music room). It was in one of the outside corridors. Apart from those it's a great mod, 8.5/10

@odenthal5 Some Soldier templates haven't fully be depleted which means some soldiers were still alive.

1 gameplay flaw and 2 bugs in the level where we have to shoot down the 3 Apaches: Way too many rockets to take them down, I'm guessing they're just reskins of the HL2 chopper. The 2 bugs: enemy soldiers are firing at us way beyond the viewdistance / fog, after killing all 3 apaches and most enemies, the AI buddy is not responding to us so I can't continue.
turns out they don't unless the replacements have their own c_hands
quick question, do weapon replacements affect the c_hands?
