Description
See sounds with visual indicators


🔊 View multiple sounds simultaneously
Visual indicators show distance, position, volume and in the case of zombies, their behavior.
If your character has the following traits, here's what's going to happen:
KEEN EARING: 20% increase of detection radius
HARD OF EARING: 20% decrease of detection radius
DEAF: Won't detect sounds around

✅ Options
• There's a new tab in the options, "VISUAL SOUNDS OPTIONS", where you can select the types of sounds to show.
• You can enable different gamemodes to enable the indicators in certain situations.
• You can adjust the max number of visual cues processed. You should gain performance and reduce visual clutter.


About bugs, complaints and features please report yourself in the discussion section.
Compatibilities
✅ Compatible with "bandits" mod. (detected as zombies)
Known issues
🟨 If you die and create a new character to respawn with: The mod will work after 1 ingame minute.
Incompatibilities
🟥 Not b42 unstable realease ready.

Anyone knows how to or a tutorial of sorts so I can at least try to make this mod works on b42? Or at least if possible at all? I can follow instructions and do some problem-solving by myself and search for solutions on the internet when at least I know how to start, but my coding skills are barebones at best, so I can't just make another mod just like that. I read stuff about mod structures being different in b41 and b42 and that the fix for some mods may not be that absurd.

To me this mod is not just integral to my PZ mod build, but also one of my favorite pieces of game design ever. To be able to pinpoint a sound source just like in real life not only is something that not even the best headset can give me (especially since I play with my laptop speakers), but also makes PZ so much more immersive. I was eager to try b42 after waiting for months, but now that this mod is not ready for it yet, I want to try to make it work or wait more.

Might be waiting for B2 is on the stable branch. With B42 still on the IWBUMS version, he'd have to update everytime the devs put out a new patch.. Nothing is stopping you from putting together your own similar mod for B42, that's how most modders are. They make mods to fill gaps they see need filling. In this case, there is a current gap for a visable sounds mod.
