Ace Combat Audio Mod (WIP)

Description
Mod Info

This mod changes alot of voice-lines for aircraft, ships with most having several lines with multiple callouts (IE Fox 2 has like 6+ variants). Only applies to Nato side.

Mod details

The mod is not a complete changeover of every single voice. Only ones that make sense.

For example:
When an aircraft fires a missile
When an aircraft is killed (player side)
When a ship is hit/sunk
I also excluded any mentions of names or anything from Ace Combat so they have some ambiguity. Mainly for those who don't want say "Kestral was sunk" when its a Kidd class DD for example sinking. (this would annoy me and can't currently set it to a specific class of ship/aircraft anyway).

Main purpose of this mod was to experiment and give a bit of life to some lines. While I do like the default lines. I do like when a ship is hit you get dramatic lines. By no means do I feel like all of them need to be replaced. Just the more "dramatic ones".

Issues/notes

As stated some lines will not always play depending on the situation. Most common one is an aircraft killed/target identified. You will sometimes hear track #### identified/is history over any new lines. Part of this was intentional as I did not want a ship getting a bandit killed line when its a ship that died. Another part is just how the game picks a line.

You may also hear some incorrect lines. The biggest one being when a ship is hit by a torpedo you may hear "Missile impact" when it was actually a torpedo hit. This is due to (at least currently) being able to split a missile hit/torpedo hit. They use the same line. However minor but just be aware of whats in the mission to avoid looking for the wrong threat.

Lastly some lines are changed but are currently not triggered (at least by the player). The main one being Emergency surface/dive on the subs. This isnt player triggered and in my testing I was unable to get a Nato sub to do either of these. So if you get (or it gets added) you will hear these lines otherwise you wont.

@=BRAC= Austin18 ツ If you can get me a source for voice's then I'd be more than willing. Considering to hire a VA for a more realistic mod. However I'm not in the Navy so I don't know the proper callouts for stuff like it.

This is a cool idea, i'd love to have some British voice lines in game.

@mr lunk There is not much you can mod at the moment apart from the voiceovers. and its just editing the voice.ini in the audio folder

I'm interested in making an audio overhaul mod for the game, but I am inexperienced in the process of modding Sea Power. Could I get any tips?

@Shazzy Yeah it would be good for a separate WARPAC side mod. I personally did the manual way and replaced some of the VOs with those from Highfleet, though only those that would make sense (ish, only knowing limited Russian)

@mouse Have never played it but it looks fun, ill have to see about it. However if I do end up using those it will be separate from this. This is one is solely Ace combat for those who want nostalgia and I plan on expanding on this once more mod types are enabled (IE custom models, music ect.)

Ever tried Highfleet? It has really good Rus VO and it's also a game with Radar, missiles and naval (well, gigantic flying methane powered bricks) related callouts
