Description
A: "Ok, now let's create a special autoshotgun..."
B: "Ah... Yeah, yeah, whatever you want. Sigh... But where's the 'Hellfire Shotgun' you promised?"
A: "That's for later..., for pumpshotgun..."

& a special autoshotgun, "Fullblast Autoshotgun" was born... :D .

Well, for this mod, I made use of the template from my other mod, Ak47 Paladin. This special autoshotgun allows you to fire a special shot, "Fullblast Shot", that is so strong that it causes a shockwave at the target location. The shockwave itself can deal splash damage to zombies nearby.

List of available features on "fullblast shotgun.txt" cfg file:
  1. Fullblast Shotgun User: Which types of survivor can use this feature (bots only/ players only/ all).

  2. Fullblast Shotgun Radius: How far the radius of the fullblast shockwave is. Min= 1, max= no limit.

  3. Fullblast Shotgun Damage: How much the damage of the "Fullblast Shot" is. The damage is multiplied by how much ammo clip is left. Min = 1, max= no limit.

  4. Fullblast Shotgun Knockback Power: How strong the knockback power can affect special infected & tank. Survivors other than the shooter can also get knocked back, but in default power that's still safe enough. Max= no limit.

  5. Fullblast Gore Mode: When enabled, common infected killed by "Fullblast Shot" will be dismembered like when hit by explosion.

Here are mechanisms of how "Fullblast Shot" works:
  • Press AIM/ SCOPE button to use AIM on autoshotgun. "Fullblast Shot" is active only during aiming.

  • "Fullblast Shot" will use all 10 ammo clip or the remaining ammo clip if it's below 10.

  • Total damage of "Fullblast Shot" depends on how much ammo clip is left. Examples: Total damage of "Fullblast Shot" with "Fullblast Shotgun Damage" set to 100 & 10 remaining ammo clip is 1000, but it becomes only 300 damage if there's only 3 ammo clip left.

  • The damage from "Fullblast Shot" is doubled when witch, tank & special infected is shot when they're inside the crosshair (damage on hit + shockwave damage). So, if the total damage is 1000, it becomes 2000 per "Fullblast Shot".

  • The damage from "Fullblast Shot" shockwave can bypass walls & obstacles.

  • Special infected & tank will be knocked back as far as how much "Fullblast Shotgun Radius" is set.

  • Survivors other than the shooter can also be knocked back, but with default knockback power that's enough to make them jump.

  • Special for Coach, he'll use random voicelines (sometimes he'll sing :D ) anytime he shoots "Fullblast Shot.".

  • Now Francis can also trigger some voicelines when using "Fullblast Shot". Sometimes he'll do some humming.


& so, Coach will love this autoshotgun, as he can make burger tank faster with this.

NOTES:
  • A video preview will be added later.
  • The electricity effects on the video are from a grenade launcher mod, "Tesla Prototype". Originally it's a grenade launcher projectile, so the effects for the projectile depend on which grenade launcher mod you use.
  • A known bug: If you modify autoshotgun max ammo clip more than 10, when ammo clip is between 11 & 20, it still deals full damage like when 10 ammo clip is used & ammo clip will change to 10. Example, 13 ammo clip will deal full damage for the 3 ammo clip.
  • As the shockwave can even destroy objects nearby, it can also damage custom enemies/ bosses in certain custom campaigns.
