Description
As the branch of the Imperial Military that dealt with surface operations, the army of the Galactic Empire was composed of many sub-units and organizations, and utilized a vast array of vehicles to achieve its objectives.

Such vehicle include walker, and with this mod, you have 3 of them, and more to come with update ! For now, you have the AT-ST, AT-DP and AT-DT

AT-ST :

"The AT-ST kept spitting lasers at us, and we kept sinking lower and lower into the snow. Each blast took another bite out of the lip of the trench."

• 2 Chin-mounted Taim & Bak MS-4 twin blaster cannons
• 1 Cheek-mounted Yaove Gunsmiths 88i twin light blaster cannon
• 1 Cheek-mounted Dymek DW-3 concussion grenade launcher
• 1 Cheek-mounted Missile launcher

Useful information :

• This walker is agile and capable of sprinting, unlike the other 2 (AT-DT and AT-DP) use it to your advantage and use the vast array of weapon at your disposal to capture isolated point and destroy the enemy of the empire.

AT-DP :

"Yes, they're remarkable machines—faster and better armored than the old AT-RTs."
"What about firepower? That ball cannon looks mean."
"I've seen a single shot punch through medium vehicle plating. That mean enough for you?"

• 1 Maad-38 heavy laser cannon

Useful information :

• This walker is like a mobile turret. It's able to tower over small building and shooting on top of target behind small cover, use it to shoot and defend a point or any position that is under attack. You can also use the hight ground at your advantage with this walker, and shoot at anything under you. Don't try to shoot at the sky tho, you have an amazing gun depression, but a very poor gun elevation.

AT-DT :

The All Terrain Defense Turret (AT-DT) was a bipedal walker used by the Galactic Empire. It was a slow walker due to the size of its main cannon, which fired a massive shot that exploded on impact. It was designed for long-range strikes before infantry troops were deployed.

• 1 Forward-mounted self-loading artillery cannon
• 2 Taim & Bak MS-4 twin blaster cannons
• 1 Forward-mounted twin light blaster cannon

Useful information :

• This walker shine in long range combat. Find a good spot to shoot at the enemy position from far away, and fire your massive explosive shot at them from far away. This walker is bulky and slow, avoid going in close combat with it. It also have a very poor gun depression, so enemy right under you might take advantage of this. However, the gun elevation with it's hight velocity projectile can help you deal with flying target in the sky, even if it's not the main role of that walker, you will see bot using this walker was improvised anti-air.

Known Issues :

• A small issue (probably related to the recent small update) is the way the bot use the walker, it's 100% playable, but often, instead of stopping to shoot, the bot will do this weird "giggle" before staying still and shooting at the enemy.

- So what can I do to fix it ? Absolutely nothing ! The script for the walker on Ravenfield is just messed up now and it's now even harder to fix walker I made before the update. The only possible way I can fix it is to remake EVERY SINGLE ANIMATION for EVERY WALKER, it will take a lot of time, a lot of effort, and I will admit that I don't want to spend hours, and hours to try to fix it. And it's not even garantee at 100% that I will be able to fix it, or if it's even possible for some of the walker.

- How to avoid that jittering problem ? The lower the speed, the harder it is to find a perfect balance and make the walker walk properly. The main value that remove that problem is the value called Min Move Distance, and to be simple, it need to be PERFECT because if it's too low, the walker will jitter, if too high, the walker will not move at all, it take A LOT OF TIME to set that up, and every single one of my walker need a different value because every walking animation is different.

- The way walker work now since an update that "fix" the animated vehicul script make it very, VERY hard/frustrating and time consuming to make a good walker, why ? Let me explain :
It's a balance between different value in the "character controller" script to make it walk smoothly and without any jittering when the bot use it.
- Why jittering is a problem ? Because it's ugly looking and weird ! because every time it jitter, the stepping sound is played, making it ridiculously loud and annoying. And because it's not balanced, the bot will not hit anything, it's simply not fun !

The speed of the walker is the main complain (too fast). I 100% understand and get this, but let me explain.

the driver for the at-dt does not render in the game. instead, the seat appears empty where the driver should be
