Description
*****Must play on Standard Resources (Economy Medium) & Very Long Campaign*****

Late Era - Starts the campaign with research late era unlocked for AI and high starting research to unlock your late loadout.

Conquest Hard - For large and Hard Conquest battles.

Alright, listen up, men!

This here is a tough, no-nonsense challenge.
The enemy’s going to hit you hard, and I mean HARD!

There will be times when the odds are stacked against you, and you’ll have no choice but to pull back and lick your wounds.
You might lose some battles along the way, hell, you will lose some battles, but don’t forget, this is about staying in the fight.
You don’t win the war by winning every battle.

You start off with 7000 manpower and 200 research points.
You’ll need to be smart with what you’ve got.
Resources are going to be tight, so forget about rushing to spam tanks.

That kind of thinking will get you nowhere fast.
You’ve got to think, keep your head on a swivel, and be tactical with every move.

Your vehicles—keep them back! Don’t go throwing your precious armour into the meat grinder.
If things go south, don’t be afraid to retreat! Live to fight another day.

And one last thing: House rules, don’t touch the enemy’s vehicles.
You leave their junk where it lies.

Your veterancy will not go unnoticed.
For every action, every enemy you overcome, your troops will rise in rank, and stats will be far greater.

Now get out there and make every move count. Victory is earned, not given!

(COMPATIBLE - With all mods, lots of other mods say last load. Conquest Hard only changes conquest so it must be loaded last and safe to do so)

*****Only Activated on Standard Resources (Economy Medium) & Very Long Campaign*****

Okay I think I cracked the code with late game offense. Holding the first point with tanks is suicide. They send an ocean of tanks at you and grind you down. What you do instead is set up a firing line of heavy tanks/AT guns before the first point and wait for them to trickle in. Push up with a thin curtain of men (for me 2 cheap conscripts and 1 recon squad for extra line of sight).

Your heavy tanks/AT should get the drop on enemy tanks charging into the point. Enemy artillery will target whatever's closest to it, which should be infantry. Then you counter batter with you arty.

I've actually won a match like this without even capturing the second point. The enemy stops spawning after you max out the score like defense.

Does the enemy AI actually run out of reinforcements or is it infinite? If it is I have to adjust my play style because I keep being whittled down too much.

Yes its incredibly punishing when losing tanks because of the manpower rewards.
Its trying to find a balance because a few people say you get too much manpower from the start.
But once you progress through mid/late game it gets real difficult.

I tend to push my tanks further back when i see tigers and rely on at guns, art and planes to bomb them.

Its also designed so you lose some battles and retreat ;)

Fun mod but incredibly punishing when you lose a tank. Especially late game against germans fielding multiple tigers and panthers per attack mission and I only have 2 shermans :/

Taylor, I noticed that you changed the difficulty. Its not bad but in my opinion the old version was a bit better :D

Ahah, otherwise i can't replace my losses, but i guess that's part of the charm eh ?
Taylor  [author] 24 Dec, 2024 @ 8:21am
Still cheating because you will have more manpower points lol

I repair and sell them back to be even, but i don't use them. ^^
