Description
"Serjilla used to be a remote Ermorian outpost near Pythium. When Ermor fell Serjilla declared itself independent, using it's legions to keep out both the few undead that wandered that far and the other successor states. The lands originally where populated by Ophians who rose up against the Pantokrator whom they claimed was a false god. Having the aid of a greater power the Pantokrator was unable to destroy them however they were able to command the Waters of Forgetfulness and blanket the land in a dense fog. The Ophians forgot their past, blending in with the humans who dwelled in their lands.

Now with the disappearance of the Pantokrator souls have begun to awaken and remember the truth. Ophians have re-establish themselves as teachers of ignorant humanity. They've been embraced by the Serjillan nobility to save their souls on death.

Serjilla wishes to spread the truth to all corners of the world and banish the lies of the Pantokrator to the shadows where they belong. Their people will ascend their physical prisons on death should they've acquired sufficient truth about creation. With the ultimate goal of fracturing this prison of souls and return all to the true divinity that rules even over Pantokrator."

Serjilla came about while reading up on some Gnostic ideas. It primarily draws from the concepts of the Serpent from the Garden of Eden being an equal teacher to Christ and the idea that part of divinity is trapped within the creation of the demiurge.

The goal is to enlighten your soldiers enough so you can kill both sides of the battle and come out ahead with angelic warriors till you reach the point a throne rush makes sense as you destroy what you can't take with your Ousias.

Culturally the nation is a mix of Pythian and Na'banean influences mixed into something Palmyran.

Yes, only death can free you of your physical prison. People need to die after acquiring sufficient XP to become enlightnened enough to free their soul. The Hypostatis is an XP shape of the Pneumatic.

Hi I have a question, how am I supposed to change my eretes into their half snake form, also to turn other commanders into their ethereal form do they need to die? Thats all thanks

It won't, that's just a default message. There are no triggers, it's merely an easy overview for the users of the available angel shapes in the mod.

Euh yes... I'll push a fix. They weren't the only one.

When your Centurions die they lose their ability to lead magic beings. Are they supposed to deathshape into 8585 instead of the basic Pneumatic?

I'm toying with a vague idea of combining the Maidens War with Sarmatianism but tying that to Sauromatia. I'm never short on ideas, just gotta execute them. The finish line is the hard part.

Wenceslaus was in the Dom4 nation as a hero. It was a LA nation around the black death tied to Veles. I just didn't like what I did with it. Today-me can do a lot more events to make it way more interesting. Maybe some day, after the other 99 ideas. Hussites though would be cool with the new mount mechanic.

Hussites defo fill that cathegory, even if they arent mythology per say. But they sure are cool and interesting.
Would recommend you look into the Přemysl the Ploughman myth:

The Lucko war could be interesting source ofr EA stuff too, or The Maidens war.
For later maybe the legends of Duke Wenceslaus I. One of them says he is sleeping in a mountain with his army of knights waiting to aid in times of dire need. Could be a nice basis for stuff as well.

As for balance
Cavalry: those are vanilla armors, that's how high cataphract barding goes. I could lower the other if I ignore it's mail bits but that would severely reduce their staying power, I think into irrelevancy.

Unit cost, I rather nerf their Pneumatic shape. It's not meant to be much of an upgrade. If you're stuck with the Pneumatic shape you kinda fucked it up.

Originally they had just 1 hp but that was too excessive but I might half their HP.
