There is a site- serjillan angels in the capital.
It says that is not available from the start but later.
question, when exactly will it be unlocked ? and what will it do ?
Wenceslaus was in the Dom4 nation as a hero. It was a LA nation around the black death tied to Veles. I just didn't like what I did with it. Today-me can do a lot more events to make it way more interesting. Maybe some day, after the other 99 ideas. Hussites though would be cool with the new mount mechanic.
Would recommend you look into the Přemysl the Ploughman myth:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P%C5%99emysl_the_Ploughman
The Lucko war could be interesting source ofr EA stuff too, or The Maidens war.
For later maybe the legends of Duke Wenceslaus I. One of them says he is sleeping in a mountain with his army of knights waiting to aid in times of dire need. Could be a nice basis for stuff as well.
Cavalry: those are vanilla armors, that's how high cataphract barding goes. I could lower the other if I ignore it's mail bits but that would severely reduce their staying power, I think into irrelevancy.
Unit cost, I rather nerf their Pneumatic shape. It's not meant to be much of an upgrade. If you're stuck with the Pneumatic shape you kinda fucked it up.
Originally they had just 1 hp but that was too excessive but I might half their HP.
Did you ever try getting into some west Slavic, specifically Czech mythology? There could be a lot of cool stuff there to amalgam for a faction. Maybe combine it with stuff in poland. They also got a lot of nice interesting mythological stuff
Cavalry doesn't really make sense. One is described as lighter, but they are almost exactly the same. You should probably buff armor of the cataphract.
Units are too cheap. They cost as if they are normal units, but most of them will transform into another decent unit upon death, which should be considered in the price.
I really like the sprites in general, especially the 'angels', but those horse necks are looong.
Pneumatic commanders can't lead other pneumatics - even when they could in life.
Choices are always good but I don't think with all the research on the nation you'd be drawn to more of it. But it might make sense to make the Borborite/Judas etc orders to be sloth. Hedonism and sloth go well together.
As for suicide, we can't make it to much cheese. But there's a high research spell that kills everyone. Killing both sides is a really viable battle plan with these guys.
Have you considered giving some of the units the Philosopher ability? it seems like it would fit really well with the general gnostic inspiration of the nation's roster (they literally believe the material world is a lie, and are in fact in many cases as much philosophers as they are traditional priests) and would give the player a choice: take production and undercut your research capabilities, but allow for easier scales expansion, or take sloth and weaken your ability to scales expand in the early game. Your best recruitable expanders are all fairly resource intensive.
The other suggestion I would make is to give the nation a way to more easily suicide their mages beyond chucking them into battles and hoping that they don't make it.
