With the success of the MCS-170's design, it is only necessary for the industries to make a successor's of such design. And with that, comes the MCS-150 design.

Like it's name, MCS-150 is a slightly smaller size vessel than the MCS-170. However, the capability of such vessel is vastly improved, especially with the introduction of longer range railguns, more durable turret material and ships armor protection, and the introduction of a better KKV systems, dubbed SM-5A KKV. The series of this design comes is 4 variants, the MCS-150C, MCS-150F, MCS-150G, and MCS-150L.

Although these ships looks impressive from performance-wise, it do have to make some things up with the cost. With the price of almost twice the regular variant of MCS-170 for a light variant of the MCS-150 design, these could make some heavy considerations for the future operators of these ships.


MCS-150C
The standard version of the MCS-150 family. Equipped with lasers, railguns, and SM-5A KKV's.

MCS-150F
The Extended-Range variant of MCS-150C. Providing more Delta-v's, thus increasing the ship mission deployment range and time. Weapon specifications are similar to MCS-150C.

MCS-150G
A more heavily armed version of MCS-150F, with additional KKV launcher cell. The variant also equipped with additional drop tanks like the MCS-150F.

MCS-150L
A lighter variant of the MCS-150C, without SM-5A KKV's Blast Launcher installed.
