Description
MUNAR GLADLY PRESENTS TO YOU...

Nightstalker

Background

3rd of June, 2036...
The war on Altis is on the verge of ending, thanks to NATO's help alongside the FIA to expell AAF forces out of Altis. 26th MEU's Marine Forces were tasked in September with providing frontline support offering recon duties far behind enemy lines.

You play as Bravo Team leader, May God be With You...

SITUATION

Your team has been deployed near Aristi to recon the area. We have the slight idea that this area is being used as a back-up staying field for AAF forces, they’re reinforcing themselves here, which means an imminent retreat from the main AAF force coming from Abdera.

MISSION

You will insert from up-north of Aristi and check out the UAV Repair Station. From there you will clear out the Mortar Outpost (and destroy the mortars, once you leave the AO) and AAF Support Element near Aristi while being as quiet as possible. Finally you will take over the HQ on top of Aristi’s wind farm. You will need to find a vehicle on your own to retreat to our HQ set on Faro’s hill.

ADDITIONAL MISSION NOTES

1. Hostile AAF troops don’t have access to NVG’s, take that into consideration.
2. Emplacements may be illuminated with lights.
3. Enemy Spec-Ops were spotted stalking the woods.

AUTHOR NOTES

Hi there fellow Arma 3 Community!

This will be my first mission to ever be published in public for you all to play. I expect the best out of it since I spent some time making it, even tho the mission itself is pretty short-lived.

I'd like to thankfully ask for any feedback that could help me improve on my mission-making career to make the best possible scenarios I'm able to.

There may be a sequel to this mission, but I won't promise anything.

Good luck!

Very nice mission. Reminded me of the OG Ghost Recon, fun stealth gameplay and the AO is not too big. I'm looking forward to see more missions of yours. Thanks

@Joshua9797 Thanks for the kind words, and hoped you liked the scenario the way you played it! Adding the DLC's to the mission page is something i really didn't think off, so thanks for pointing it out!

@Liberty_Valance Sorry for that error when recalling the mission, i have 0 idea of why that happens, i'll take a look into it ASAP.

problem solved with the missing DLC but there is an error message when recalling the saved game; all is lost

some addons seems tobe missing. Are all the DLCs necessary and why ?

Very enjoyable mission! Unfortunately, my playthrough didn’t go as smoothly due to my completely wrong order of progression.

I actually played the mission in the entirely wrong order and started with the HQ. I only noticed the information about the correct sequence when I reached the mortars.
As a result, the mission markers remained active throughout the entire mission, even though I had already secured the areas.

The issue with the fire also got me killed a few times.

Additionally, at the start of the mission, I encountered an error message about a missing object: "EF_B_Marine_R_Des." I figured this might mean the Expeditionary Forces DLC needs to be loaded. You might want to add this DLC to the list of required DLCs with a note that the compatibility mod is sufficient.

All in all, it was a very atmospheric mission! The intro and voice acting really draw you into the experience. The fog creates a fantastic mood, and the difficulty level was just right:steamthumbsup:
