Description
You ever just want an easier, less stressful survival experience? Do you wanna do some casual PVE, or even casual PVP, without having to constantly worry about whether your ship has "cOnVeYoRs"? Was your badass execution scene ruined by the disheartening "click" of your PRO-1 sheepishly letting you know that its innards are hollow?

No? Just me?

Alright, well, on the off-chance your idea of fun *doesn't* involve having your genitalia mangled by an unholy refinery-assembler combo in the name of resource gathering, I present to you:

The Infinite Ammo Mod.

This mod sets a vanilla world setting ("InfiniteAmmo") to true in your session settings when you load your save file. For some reason, Keen decided this EXTREMELY IMPORTANT SETTING didn't deserve a world options toggle, so I fixed it. Adding this mod to your world will enable Infinite Ammo in survival for all weapons, vanilla and modded.

This mod does not support the sh|t-show that calls itself WeaponCore. Do not ask for WeaponCore support or I will sh|t on your cow.

Special thanks to Digi and CommanderChet on the KSH Discord server for pointing me in the right direction with the ModAPI! Without you guys, this wouldn't exist.

ya. it seems to be working fine for weapons core. but i agree. weapons core just feels...bad to use. like it works when it wants to. but not many weapon mods dont use weapons core sadly.

Not a bug. Not really a feature either. More of a pleasant surprise. I didn't go out of my way to add any handling for WeaponCore. The mod doesn't even look for it. I just added that to the description because WC's default beahavior leaves an awful taste in my mouth. That being said, I'm not the kind of girl to hobble my code because of petty disagreements. So long as WeaponCore (and mods that use it) respect the world's infinite ammo setting, this mod *should* work with it.

The important code for this mod is literally one line calling the ModAPI to change a world bool. Because this mod depends only on internal keen code, this mod should ALWAYS work. If it breaks in vanilla, I'll fix it. If it breaks with WC enabled but works in vanilla, blame WC devs.

i dont know if this is a bug or not but this mod does work for weapons core. i can put any weapon on any ship/station and it works perfectly. absolutely outstanding mod.

Jesus H Bruce Lee Christ... I think I remember why I used to disable comments. This kind of bullsh|t is exhausting to read, let alone engage with. VS-lockon is a living example of the phrase "walking mass of negative neural energy" and I have no more time or energy to waste on them. Tbh this just seems like an excuse for them to b|tch and whine about me releasing a mod to make the game EASIER instead of HARDER.
