wjen the game was on kickstarter and i got the first version i was hoping so much that people would not start to compare it with SH because it has very different aspects and qualities, but so much for that. i hope we can enjoy each others effords to make this game the best it can be
Lurking in subsim and SH3 megamod discords there is a vibe I get that some of the more vocal users find UBOAT 'immature' and not up to snuff, which I find a bit ironic when they are comparing it to a 10 to 15 year user developed version of less than stellar base game. I find the 10 or so point checklist suggested for saving the game only mostly ensuring that the save will not be corrupted kind of telling.
In general, I'd like to see more players modding UBOAT and maybe in the future there will be some megamods.
on a personal note, do you think there will ever exist megamods for UBOAT like SH had it?
