Description


Adds Confucius as an alternate leader for China.

Confucius
Ability: The First Teacher Each Campus, Theater Square and Holy Site grants all other cities +20% Production towards district of the same type. Receives a Confucian Disciple when recruiting a Great Scientist, Great Writer or Great Prophet. Agenda: Education without Distinction Respects other civilizations unless they are warmongers that ignore happiness of their people.

Confucian Disciple
A special type of Great Person only available to Confucius. Each has unique abilities, including a passive effect, and a Retire effect. Has additional sight and ignores closed borders.
  • Yan Hui (Ziyuan): Specialty districts provide +1 Science and +1 Culture; this bonus is doubled in this city.
  • Min Sun (Ziqian): Each Population provides +0.2 Faith; this bonus is doubled in this city.
  • Ran Geng (Boniu): Farms and Pastures provide +1 Food; Farms and Plantations in this city provide an additional +1 Faith.
  • Ran Yong (Zhonggong): Cities with a Holy Site or a Theater Square receive +1 Amenity; this bonus is doubled in this city.
  • Zai Yu (Ziwo): +25% Influence point per turn.
  • Duanmu Ci (Zigong): +25% Culture and Gold from International Trade Routes.
  • Ran Qiu (Ziyou): Grant 1 Governor title. PASSIVE: +8 Loyalty per turn to cities within 2 tiles.
  • Zhong You (Zilu): Instantly creates a heavy cavalry unit with +5 Combat Strength. PASSIVE: +5 Combat Strength and +1 Movement to land units within 2 tiles (does not stack with Great General bonuses).
  • Yan Yan (Ziyou): +100% Production towards Encampments, Harbors, and Industrial Zones, and these districts provide +4 Culture.
  • Bu Shang (Zixia): +100% Production towards hydraulic districts, and these districts provide +4 Culture.
  • Zeng Shen (Ziyu): Each Population provides +0.2 Culture; this bonus is doubled in this city.

This mod requires Gathering Storm & Rise and Fall.

Supports English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.

I've created a Korean translation for your mod using AI assistance. I think the translation turned out quite well, and I'd like to upload it to the Steam Workshop as a Korean language pack.

Very fun mod, works great. The only problem I found was that Zhong You's passive applied to all my units, not only those within 2 tiles.
Also this was my first timing playing with the Zhou Dynasty, and their abilities are incredibly strong. In particular, I found that the religious spread from envoys coupled with double envoys to city-states following your religion enabled me to easily become suzerain of every city-state in the game with dozens of envoys to spare. Super fun, but probably too powerful.

You need to subscribe Dynasty Uniques mod. And make sure you are using the most updated version of both mods.
