@Totally Not An Illuminate Spy. I would accept giving it a large liquid tank. Especially, if it can hold water OR fuel. The RV interior does seem overly large. 2x2 or maybe 2x3 would seem more appropriate.

@Totally Not An Illuminate Spy - So you're saying there's a lot of space in there to put furniture in if someone wanted to clean it out and refit it into a post-apocalyptic mobile vehicle? Sounds like a great mod then! Thanks Hooligvn!

Kinda lore breaking in the sense that these are essentially fire trucks. Those massive internal spaces are occupied by multi-thousand gallon water tanks.
