Description
ROS Arctic Base Composition and Demo

W.A.R.S - the Western Arctic Research Station is a demo mission and composition. Originally made for the Arctic map - but can be used on any snow terrain with a suitably flat area.

Main features:

* Medical facility
* Research lab
* Office and administration building
* Working TV's
* Submarine surface breach through the ice with ballast venting particle effects
* Working vending machine - script and sfx
* NEW ROS SnowStorm system - variable strength, white out, northern lights, water drops, no snow under cover)
* Foggy breath script (part of the ROS SnowStorm system)
* Custom voices and sound effects
* Snow mobiles (excellent mod!)
* Working PA system
* Two sleeping quarters
* Security detail uses a searchlight to repeatedly scan the area at night
* Fully stocked kitchen and dining area
* Bathroom facilities
* HAFM supply chip that continuously circles the island
* A large hovercraft (CUP)
* Two SAR helicopters
* Deformed terrain using Deformer mod (required if you use the Arctic map as per demo)
* Sit and stand up actions for all chairs

Suggest load the demo and then _copy and _paste into your mission.
Unfortunately there are quite a few required mods. Hopefully you already have most of them.

Have a look in your scenarios list. You'll need to have subbed to the required mods - most you probably already have. Or if you know a bit about mission making - d/l the mission from the Google drive direct d/l link above. Unzip and place it in your mission folder in "C:\Users\<YourName>\Documents\Arma 3\missions\ROS_Arctic_Base_Demo.Arctic". Then start A3 activate just the required mods in the Launcher and load the mission in the Eden Editor to try it out. This allows you to see how it was made and make changes if you want. You can then edit it or just export it as a MP mission then load the mission by starting a local server MP (Lan) and load the mission with one player - you. Put a pw on your server so no one else joins. This is known as MP SP mode. I'm more than willing to take you through the process if you like - just send me a friend request.

@Disco - unfortunately the excellent Arctic map is part of Northern Fronts terrains and has that dependency. It would be great if they unbundled that map.

@rodx864 - sorry I accidently deleted your post. Thanks yes I'm still refining the snowstorm script. I'll have to disable the effect when the camera changes. Well spotted.
