Combine Advisor from Episode Two

Description
This is intended for Half-Life 2 and Episode One. So, I recommend that if you switch to Episode Two, disable the addon if you don't need it.

Here is one of my Half-Life 2 addons I created uploaded to the Workshop (with more to come eventually). It is the Combine Advisor from Half-Life 2: Episode Two.

The Advisor model was taken directly from Episode Two's assets but with custom animations intended for HL2 and EP1 only.

The Advisor's screen appearance in Breen's office was changed to the EP2 model and the Advisor Pod now has the EP2 Advisor mesh (with minor edits) along with my custom animations to go along with it.

The directory can be found in:

Go ahead. I like to see what you have. (Unless you want to do it privately.)

I did play a bit with this mod back in the day and found a solution for the idle having the face tubes not move in the monitors, Entropy Zero 2 had to deal with the same issue so they made a idle where it doesnt move that part much and it works pretty well since its very expressive in other bits like the eye. If you would like to update it i also edited a bunch of textures where the original Advisor appears and replaced it with the EP2 one, i can give them to you, prolly wont use them for anything so they are sitting on my cloud.

Just subscribe and it should show up in-game. Just don't have it enabled for Episode Two.

So… Do I just sub to this addon, and the mod will be done? Are there any other steps to be done?
I'm a fan of Consistency addons like this, now it makes more sense than having the low-poly Advisor magically changed to the EP2 Advisor

Nice, good work.

No, because it has the same EP2 animations, but I do not recommend having it enabled for EP2, because it overrides the Idle animation. I believe it was used in a quick appearance on the monitors in the first map of Riding Shotgun. Other than that, it should not cause any problems.

Will it break EP2 if you have this enabled?
