Colonist Wages

Beskrivelse
Adds wages to colonists - colonists expect a payment every quadrum and will get annoyed if underpaid or a payday is missed!

The expectations for their wage can be modified through the following options (1.6 only! 1.5 only supports the first):

Wages are % of wealth
Wage are dependant on skill
Enable minimum working age
Enable retirement age
Wages are based on age
Enable minimum wage
Enable maxmium wage
Auto-increase wages to minimum

Colonists can also use wages - (they'll buy armour & weapons from traders & addicted pawns buy the drug their addicated to)

Please make sure to check mod settings when you play to enable whatever you want!

ah took a look and i see the problem (maybe!) - it checks the current map for the silver not the real map. do you remember if you were looking on a different map when this happened? maybe a raid map or something similiar?

i’m away for a week so won’t be able to fix it until im back apologies :TheSmiley:

One bug report: sometimes it seems that pawns don't get paid, even if there is enough silver to pay them.

I had some on a caravan, it makes sense for them not to be paid if they're not carrying silver, but the ones at home should be paid still, right? What may be causing this?

@soup Something like that, yeah. Either a shelf or machines that a pawn can't take from without paying silver for it first. That way you can set up an internal economy, having your pawns do work for wages that they could spend on things other colonists have made.

I know it's likely not feasible, but it would also be cool to have a system where items made by a pawn are 'owned' by them and have to be bought from another pawn to use them. You could set up shops. Bonus points if it interacts with Hospitality.

In addition to having the colonists being able to buy things from traders, I wonder if it'd be possible to set up systems for pawns to buy things within the colony. If you produce chocolate for instance, can you set it up somehow so they have to pay for it? I'd love to have an internal economy within the colony itself.

Is there a way to set another currency as wage? Like gold, or components? I think it would be such a great mod for roleplaying purpose

Would CE compatibility be possible? It would be very cool to see my soldiers auto buy ammo for themself or an ideology specialist job purchase supplies they need like a doctor stocking up on medicine
