i’m away for a week so won’t be able to fix it until im back apologies
One bug report: sometimes it seems that pawns don't get paid, even if there is enough silver to pay them.
I had some on a caravan, it makes sense for them not to be paid if they're not carrying silver, but the ones at home should be paid still, right? What may be causing this?
I know it's likely not feasible, but it would also be cool to have a system where items made by a pawn are 'owned' by them and have to be bought from another pawn to use them. You could set up shops. Bonus points if it interacts with Hospitality.
@Lone_Explorer are you suggesting something akin to the vending machines that pawns stock and then buy?
e.g addicated to wakeup = buy wakeup
gourmands and teetotalers buy high-end food, normal pawns buy soft drugs like alcohol and smokeleaf, while chemical interest pawns buy flake and ya yo.
reworked the mod & added bunch of options for wages (only for 1.6!):
Wages are % of wealth
Wage are dependant on skill
Enable minimum working age
Enable retirement age
Wages are based on age
Enable minimum wage
Enable maxmium wage
Auto-increase wages to minimum
Colonists use wages - (they'll buy armour & weapons from traders)
All these are customisation in the mod settings
I think this is mostly everything that was requested by people, with the rework it'll be easier for me to add anything else
Percentage of wealth is a good idea, but having it affect everyone does make it hard for me to use this properly.
I like it enough to keep it around for a more dedicated playstyle run with a slightly different modlist, though.
"*brow raised* I fed and clothed you, didn't I?"
Also the ability to exclude some colonists from needing wages would be appreciated.
Was going to use this as a "Lord of the Castle Pawn paying his soldiers" kind of thing but having to update the wages constantly as my wealth goes up from any manner of thing is kind of tedious.
i start the game spawned ~40 colonists
i scrolled down the menu as there was more than 20 and cant all fit in one part and set all their wages to 200 (i do agree a button to set all would be useful i will do this when i get around to it)
everyone had their wage set
i saved quit the game and reloaded and they still have their wages set
anything im missing to reproduce?
As a corporate wage slave, I identify with that.
still a good mod ngl!
