New Adjacency Bonuses

Description


Adjacent Units:

- Aqueducts receive 34% of the total adjacent units as Science, Culture, and Faith.
- Roman Baths receive 50%.

Each Adjacent Side of a River:

- Each adjacent side of a river grants Dams +1 Food and +1 Production.

Adjacent Working Citizens:

- Each adjacent working citizen grants Canals +2 Gold.
- If at least 6 working citizens are adjacent, the Gold adjacency bonus is doubled.

Adjacent Road Levels:

- Each level of an adjacent road provides an equal adjacency bonus to Industrial Zones.
- Example: Ancient Roads grant +1 Production to Industrial Zones, Railroads grant +5 Production.

Neighborhood and Unique Neighborhood:

- Each population in the city grants Communities +0.5 Production.
- Each unit of housing in the city grants Communities +0.25 Food.
- Each unit of surplus housing in the city grants Communities +1 Gold.




This mod introduces multiple brand-new adjacency bonus interfaces:
- Each adjacent side of a river: FROM_RIVER_CROSSING
- Each level of an adjacent road: FROM_ADJACENT_ROUTE
- Each adjacent working citizen: FROM_ADJACENT_WORKER
- Each adjacent unit: FROM_ADJACENT_UNIT
- Working citizens within the district: FROM_SELF_WORKER
- Adjacent districts and wonders: FROM_ADJACENT_DISTRICT_AND_WONDER
- Adjacent districts: FROM_ADJACENT_DISTRICT
- Number of outgoing trade routes: FROM_OUTGOING_ROUTES
- Total city population: FROM_CITY_POPULATION
- Total city housing: FROM_CITY_TOTAL_HOUSING
- Surplus city housing: FROM_CITY_SURPLUS_HOUSING
- Total number of city districts (excluding the city center and wonders): FROM_CITY_DISTRICTS_NUM

Note:
- These bonuses do not appear in the Empire Lens or City Panel filters but are displayed in the left-side city district panel.
- All adjacency bonuses update at the end of the player's turn.

The UI is still under development. This mod implements pseudo-adjacency bonuses through SQL and Lua in the Gameplay environment. It also provides an interface for customization. If you want to add or modify something, you can depend on this mod and remove the adjacency bonuses added to the Aquatic District by this mod.

isn't a scaling +1 insanely overpowered for industrial zones? even just a flat +1 across all eras for a road would be REALLY good and kinda op, as you can pretty much put a road anywhere.

FYI, you wrote "Canals receive 34% of the total adjacent units as Science, Culture, and Faith." for Adjacent Units in the description where you meant Aqueducts.

Great additions, look forward to using them.
