Genetic Rarity

In 1 collection by Nye
Genetics, Death & Difficulty - Official Collection
8 items
Description
Intended to be used as part of the modular increased difficulty experience: Genetics, Death & Difficulty

Overview
Genetic Rarity alters the active inheritance of genetic traits to make gameplay more challenging yet rewarding. While inheritable traits continue to appear normally in the game world at the rate they always have, passing them down becomes less likely and less predictable, resulting, hopefully in less god-like OP player characters. Characters will still become carriers of congenital traits as normal.

In a nutshell: Eugenics programs should be more difficult to min-max

Complimentary nerf
No More Blood Legacy is aimed for a more hardcore / difficult experience when coupled with Genetic Rarity as it prevents you from using the Blood Legacy dynasty perks altogether for OP characters / dynasties.

Could you share the new probability percentages?

is there a mod out there that does the opposite of this and increases the chances?

Do you think you could make a mod for congenital traits, so they no longer exist or make their values 0 for everyone or no longer make them visible? Yes, Obfusckate does this, but it changes too many things and you have to play in English.

Same, I find it way more interesting when the player isn't so OP in every single aspect

thank you so much! It has bothered me so much that after three generations or so, everybody becomes the absolute peak of mankind, better than any historical figure
