Description
'The American Dream' Dusty Rhodes entered the WWF in 1989 with a new polka dot gimmick.

As outlandish as the gimmick was, 'the Son of a Plumber' proceeded to rise above what many considered to be a slap in the face to Dusty's legacy as a veteran Wrestler, all thanks to the 'Common Man's' natural swagger and charisma.

With his last WWF run, The American Dream continued to remain a fan favourite; proving that just about any bad gimmick can be overcome with the right amount of fire and dedication.
