F.A.Q

What happened to the original mod by 20190611?
Nothing, the original mod is still available for download on Nexus. However, the original author no longer has the time to keep all his mods up to date and has authorized me to modify and use his assets.

Will the original mod be updated?
No, you can consider it a legacy version, and this will be its replacement/spiritual successor.

I see different uniforms in the screenshots than what my units are wearing, did something happen?
No, absolutely nothing. What you see are extra uniforms provided by the In-game Camo Selector, if you want to use them, you will need to subscribe to it.

Do I need In-game Camo Selector to play?
No, it is absolutely optional. I gave the British units their most distinctive pattern during the Global War on Terror, that is loosely when Door Kickers 2 takes place. However, if you want to make use of the older DPM or the current MTP uniforms, you will need it.

But it wasn't needed in the old mod...
Yes, it wasn't, and there was a gigantic list of repeated gear just to change the color of helmet and vest.

The vest and helmet don't change when I change them in the menu
The appearance of the gear in-game is fixed. Changing helmets and vests only changes their statistics. All gear has been put together to portray a proper British trooper of the period they're meant to represent.

@ozzieduke64 Hi there, sorry for the late answer. First of all, glad you're enjoying the mod. About your question, it is fairly easy, you only need to find the workshop folder in your steam directory, then, find the game (SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\1239080), then this mod folder (1746076120) and finally, just replace the image inside of textures. Just remember to keep the same name and format.

Great mod. Just started using it. I am a proud Aussie who's son is serving. I wish they were Aussies, but the two are pretty similar. Rather play as the Poms and pretend they have Aussie accents, than the Yank's. Thank you for your hard work. Any way to change the Unit patches on the squad screen. Thanks again

There's not one but two French mods released already, they're in Nexus tho.

I have played with the idea tho, and even have made several units with FAMAS, AA51, Minimi, and FRF2, all clad in Dagget, but no promises until I finish what I have already at hands.

If you ever decide to make another mod, I have a suggestion. I think the French military would be an awesome addition to the game.

Nice mod! I am enjoying the ability to redo the missions with different special ops units.

Ah ok, machine gunners also typically carried a secondary weapon like a pistol for use when their machine guns weren’t viable so would you possibly consider giving them and maybe the sharpshooter a pistol as secondary?

Hey there, glad you're liking the mod.
About your question, I applied the usual logic that pistols are usually carried by officers and people who truly needs them. In turn, the riflemen can equip the rocket launchers in their secondary weapon slot and still carry that extra gear that they lack.
