I have played with the idea tho, and even have made several units with FAMAS, AA51, Minimi, and FRF2, all clad in Dagget, but no promises until I finish what I have already at hands.
About your question, I applied the usual logic that pistols are usually carried by officers and people who truly needs them. In turn, the riflemen can equip the rocket launchers in their secondary weapon slot and still carry that extra gear that they lack.
P.S. There's a SAS mod in development, go to the official DK2 Discord server and you'll see teasers pop from time to time :)
Sadly, what you ask for is not possible. Because how the mod is built, the helmets are directly modeled over the character, so you can't really change it. Unless I made them either wear and armored beret or unable to wear helmet at all.
@Slamdingo, sadly, no. The game has a hard limit of how many units you can include, this is why no mod has a complete platoon.
@Lysimachus Good to know it was helpful lol, truth be told, the button can be a little hidden, I hope you're enjoying the mod :)
@Anthony, we're not in 1940 anymore
@Greenman Thank you!
However, I must tell you that I'm not from the UK, haha
V cool :)
For King and Country!
