Vanilla Gun Styles

Description
Adds ideology style textures for vanilla guns, while trying to remain true to original weapons.

Note
This is the vanilla version of this mod: Authentic Gun Styles. If you use CE, that mod might suit your needs better. Vanilla Gun Styles on the other hand modifies the textures to vanilla proportions.

Might be incompatible with other style mods that add variants into the same item of same style.

Does not replace the "standard", no style textures. They are just in the preview pictures for comparison.

Design Philosophy
Too many vanilla style mods change the gun into something completely unrecognizable from the original thing. With some mods, you look at a raider and see an smg with a drum mag, you expect him to shoot at you for half an hour uninterrupted, but nope, it's actually a completely different gun that only holds 10 shots. Other mods make the vanilla m16 look like a futuristic blob of space fish. I don't like that approach.

This mod tries to make guns look subtly different by only changing the following:
- paintjob colors: rust, wood, metal or plastic, etc,
- furniture, stocks, handguards, foregrips, barrel shrouds,
- attachments if in the same category (muzzle brake can become a different muzzle brake, but won't be changed it into a silencer),
- add or remove rails,
- add dents, various damage and remove parts if the gun would still function without them,
- add miscellanous attached items like carry handles, belts, shell holders, cloth wrapping and other stuff that doesn't make the gun behave in a different way.

What is not allowed to change:
- overall silhoutte of the old gun in a way that makes it completely unrecognizable.
- add or remove scopes, underbarrels, bayonetts, change magazine capacity, barrel length

Melee Weapons: The textures for melee tries not to be too anachronistic, only if it is so deeply ingrained with a culture that it'd make sense it had been passed down thousands of years. Melee restyles should be subtle and generic, enough to give the feeling of the style without becoming too visually loud.

Style themes
I dislike all guns being the same colors, so each style should have at least 2 main colors, while following its theme.

Standard guns remain untouched by this mod and fill the gaps in other styles.

Techist weapon style focuses on compact, lightweight furniture and heat dissipation. With camouflage often rendered useless by futuristic thermal scopes and tight quarters of spaceships, techist weapons don't cheap out on extravagant designs and vibrant, aggressively bright paintjobs. Techist style is usually seen on the Empire faction.

Spikecore is often seen in the hands of pirates - rusty, makeshift, poorly maintaned and battle-scarred weapons. Sharp, spiky and uncomfortable furniture, with constructional weaknesses covered up by duct tape. Sandy camo is one of the main colors for spikecore.

Rustic is inspired by weapons of rural farmers and hunters, 20th century soldiers and noir detectives. Here you'll find sporterized stocks, blue-ish or blackened steel and olive polymer or dark grainy wood coupled with shell holders and pouches. These weapons should look old, but are still well-maintained.

Totemic is often the style of Tribal factions. These will have carving, runes, feathers, stone beads, talismans and leather accessories - things that crafty, but unfamiliar with technology people might customize their weapon with. Metal and plastic parts will often be replaced with wood, where possible, and the wood used will have wider variety of colors, in contrast to standartized industrial guns.

Morbid weapons are stylized to be grim, intimidating and reserved. Military guns have simple, utilitarian, gray and black paintjobs, while more exotic guns have silver, red wood and brightly polished metal. Something you'd expect a vampire, cartel member or a politician to possess.

Empire
Empire doesn't spawn with techist style, but we have added in the mod options to add it to the Empire faction in the current save, as well as to remove techist style from the faction in the current save if you'd like.

Credits
Thanks to Keshash, who made the original mod. Thanks to Luizi, Serina and the entire CE team for allowing me to modify their source textures. Also thanks to Auggie for supplying the CE server offtopic channel with a huge amount of customized gun pictures.

Eventually this mod will be affect for 1.6 (hopefully, if you don't feel like updating the mod constantly to preserve your mental health, don't fret we will understand)
My question is will unique weapons be updated?
