Milkwater's Warframe Mod: The Sequel

Description
Welcome to my new mod. Spoilers for the game Warframe. And yes I need all these dependencies.

This mod adds lots of Warframe stuff to your game. New weapons. New armor. New pawns (Warframes!). New buildings. New factions. New resources. Lots of new stuff.



Weapons
Currently there are 34 new weapons. 33 of these can be acquired by the player and feature new mechanics.

Here is a picture of all the new weapons you can find or craft!


If you have played Warframe before, you will already know these new mechanics.

Mechanic name
Mechanic description
Crit chance
Every time a bullet hits a pawn, a chance is rolled based on this number. If it succeeds, the pawn will take extra damage based on the crit damage multiplier.
Crit damage
When a bullet succeeds the critical chance check, it will have its base damage multiplied by this number.
Status chance
Every time a bullet hits a pawn, a chance is rolled based on this number. If it succeeds, the pawn will have an extra effect applied to them. Please scroll further to learn more!
Status type
When a bullet succeeds the status chance check, a specific status effect will be applied to them. Please scroll further to learn more!



Status effects/Elements

There are 13 status effects I will explain. Each one has a unique effect, making each weapon that much more special.



Element name
Element description
Toxin
Gives toxic buildup, pawn will also take damage periodically.
Radiation
Pawn will begin to automatically attack nearby friendly pawns.
Magnetic
Slows movement and stuns mechanoids.
Heat
Reduces armor, pawn will also take damage periodically.
Electric
Short stun, and damage will arc to nearby pawns.
Cold
Slows movement, as well as melee and ranged cooldowns.
Viral
Enemy has a 25% chance to take double damage from incoming damage sources.
Slash
Decreases armor, and massively increases the bloodloss.
Puncture
Reduces outgoing melee damage, and increases ranged cooldowns.
Impact
Knocks the pawn in the air, stunning them heavily when they land.
Gas
Target produces gas clouds that do damage to other pawns.
Corrosive
Pawn's armor is massively reduced.
Blast
If the pawn dies with this effect, they will explode!



Warframes

That's right! We now have warframes!

To build a warframe, you must gather 3 warframe parts. These can be crafted using 80 steel and 5 components.

Once you have 3 parts, you must build a Warframe Gestator. It works similarily to a mech gestator. Just have a pawn interact with it and choose which warframe to build.
Then it will begin to slowly gestate. Once gestation is complete, the warframe will pop out on the ground and must be moved to a cryopod to rest.

Warframes cannot move on their own. In order to take control of your warframe, you must build a Somatic Link. Once built, assign a pawn to it and choose a warframe to take control of.

Now you have a working warframe! They are beasts in combat and will rapidly regenerate when laying in their cryopods!

So far there are four warframes in the mod. Meet Excalibur, Ember, Rhino, and Vauban (in order)!



They will each come equipped with their own psycast tree from Vanilla Psycasts Expanded so you can use them as soon as you build the infrastructure!



Extra stuff

This mod also comes with a bunch of new factions, a wild kubrow animal, and many new resources and armor!
The factions consist of a neutral and a hostile Grineer faction, and a neutral and a hostile Corpus faction.

I am working on adding an Infested faction as well, where you can fight chargers and other infested enemies.



FAQ

- CE?
- Not yet.

- Compatible mods?
- As of right now we are compatible with Rebound (Continued). Warframes will spawn with a trait that allows them to reflect bullets if they are holding a melee weapon, just like in the real game!

- Whats next?
- I will add Loki, Oberon, and Garuda. Then I need to code more psycasts!

suggestion why why dont make tenno power psi ability so void beam, void clock, void dash/sling and transference with transference work by let control not only warframe but other pawns is well why store the transference pawn in hediff of warframe or pawn that was transference into and if warframe or pawn die one who transference into will appear next to where warframe die is for handle for map maybe best way hand is by just make one that use transference appear some where on your colony map?
