Description
Fists of Lyssa 6000 an end game, fully upgraded core 17 combat CV. With max turrets & shields, antimatter thrust, and a ton of armor, this ship is guaranteed to deliver maximum devastation to your enemies!

A completely new combat ship designed to maximize performance in a compact design. While offering enough protection and firepower, to overwhelm the enemies. Named after the Greek Goddess Lyssa - known for Rage, Fury, and….Rabies? Anyway, the word lyssa also means “frenzy” or “madness” which she certainly delivers in this ship!

Here is a video of this ship easily killing a Tovera:
https://youtu.be/m6ut1Y2khqo

Fully upgraded, it contains the following features:
• 16 Dual Medium Plasma Cannons
• 10 Infrared Light Modulated Turrets
• 6 EMP's & 2 Cruise Missiles
• 13 Light Missile Turrets
• 8 Light Gatling Turrets (1 is a decoy)
• 125k Shield – All upgrades included
• 2 Small Fusion Reactors
• Multiple Decoy Positions – The Fists of Confusion!
• Extremely Agile with Near Optimal Thrust Positioning - All Thrust Upgraded to Antimatter
• Two 320k Ammo & Two 640k Controller Systems

The “Fists” serve a couple purposes. First, they are extra armored sections that help spread out the damage during fights. Both “Fists” contain a small thruster & small generator, and are located further forward on the ship than the same decoys in the nose. This generally makes most incoming fire aimed at them. Since they are further out on the ship, they also rotate faster, helping you avoid incoming shots. Additionally, if you do a lot of movement, the AI will change targeting between the fists. This seems to sometimes delay incoming shots as the enemy turrets reacquire a new target, which reduces incoming damage.

If you need a core 9 version, check out the original Fists of Lyssa:

ahh I did not realize they were the same "blocks" thanks again

Heavy and medium are at full block limits, so you can’t add more medium Gatling. To add them, you’d have to reduce the amount of medium manual plasma, which isn’t worth it.

oh and thank you very much for posting this!

I was curious about using like 4 medium gat turrets versus 8 light any reason you go light is it just to have more guns shooting drones ?

You are correct. Im sorry, I was watching a Spanj video. But you are my ship builder go to : ) I lived in a Soul Crusher for months and months.

I know you have the knowledge of what works, and as i analyze, I think I understand your choices.

Thank you so much!

I think that video you're referring to was someone else, unless you were referring to the SV video. But, an SV would have different preferences than a CV. For CV, I like the quick shield stripping ability, since space combat is mostly a shield race. I also prefer plasma for dual purpose shield & large area damage. But, many ways work, it's all about preferences.

I see you went with Medium Plasma and reserved the EMPs for the heavy slots. In your All the Guns Video, you were thinking the Railgun series was best. What made you fall back on the Medium Plasma instead of the Medium Railgun?

And TY for all your hard work. I have been using your ships and videos for thousands of hours. You are a Gaming Hero : )

That still works. You just have to find the right crystalline moon. I show it in this video:

Any tips on how to quickly acquire the ~28500 xenomaterial needed for this? It seems that crystalline moons were revamped last year, and the old method of collapsing glowy structures is gone.
