Description
This is an updated version of Kiruka's Warden Class for LWOTC since she has moved on from LWOTC modmaking. This version has redone trees and a new identity based on the experiences of the past couple of years.

The Warden has 3 main trees. The first is focused around shooting, especially critical hits and taking advantage of the non-turn-ending standard shot. The second tree focuses on the sword, featuring melee skills and movement economy, while the middle tree focuses on utility and boosting the other builds with additional action economy, survivability, or lethality.

The warden always starts each turn in Offensive stance. Using Warden's Advance or another ability that activates Ebb and Flow will change the warden to Defensive stance. Most damaging abilities are not usable in Defensive stance, and some abilities can toggle you back to Offensive stance again as well. Some abilities have different effects depending on what stance the soldier is in when they are used.

This version has the pistol row as well as the full LWOTC 1.2 style XCOM decks updated with some new perks and balance, with some psi utility mixed in since Psi Overhaul V3 is no longer part of Ted Jam.

Credits to Xenthalus for the main class tree design, to Kiruka for the LWOTC Warden this was based on and for getting me into LWOTC modding with Mod Jam, to Eramar for the original Warden Class with its custom perks, and the authors of various perks used by the updated class.

Tree:
  • SQD- Warden's Advance, Insight, Ebb and Flow
  • LCPL- Parting Strike, Premonition, Shooting Sharp
  • CPL- Half Sword, Unwavering Stance, Executioner
  • SGT- Lightning Reflexes, Dervish, Overkill
  • SSGT- Go With The Flow, Relocate, Anatomy
  • TSGT- Keen Edge, Untouchable, Disabling Shot
  • GSGT- Lightning Fang, Spatial Surfer, Unbalance
  • MSGT- Winding, Thousands to Go, Double Tap

Perk changes:
  • Warden's Advance now only works in offensive stance
  • Unwavering Stance - now a free action, 4 turn cooldown
  • Unbalance - now is a guaranteed crit
  • Go With The Flow - gain a movement AP after activating Ebb and Flow, also grants 6th Sense

Requirements:
Everything that's required is for perks used by the class. Some have many more perks used than others, ranging from two XCOM row perks needing the Stormrider and and the Supercharge/Singe abilities, up to all of the original abilities from the Warden class.

There is a minor copy/paste typo in the localization file on the entry for Relocate ("WardenRelocate"): the LocHelpText= duplicates the information for the Spatial Surfer perk rather than showing the description of the Relocate perk. The other lines for the entry are correct.

how tf do i tell in wich "stance" i am?
also what the hell does "ebbe and flow" do?
and why do the free actions lock me out of the rest of the abilities essentially wasting my turn?
kinda frustrating to use tbh

does the warden benefit from psi PCS?
I guess no cuz they "use theor body to harness it"

Ok, that should be fixed now.

basically, move before using Premonition or Unwavering Stance to use up the move only AP, or else you won't get the standard AP back

Ok, so Go With The Flow has a weird interaction with Premonition/Unwavering Stance, am working on fixing it.
