Description
Anna has arrived from the Epic Battle Fantasy series! Get ready for some target practice!

Overview

Anna is a dedicated zoner, with most her moves revolving around using her trusty bow and arrow to apply pressure from afar. Even when not actively shooting at foes, she excels in creating trap set ups that are bound to catch opponents off guard. Just be careful not to get let them get too close or knock you off stage; her recovery tools are not nearly as robust as her ranged arsenal.



Specials

NSPECIAL - Elemental Arrows
Charge up and fire an elemental arrow straight forward! The arrow flies in a straight line, and gains power and speed as you charge it. Holding different directions will allow you to change which arrow you fire, each of which has different effects:
- Aqua Arrow (Default) will inflict enemies with stacks of the Wet status, which lowers by 1 every second. This effect can be stacked to last a total of 9 seconds.
- Spark Arrow (Hold Up) briefly stuns the target. If the target is wet, the damage this arrow deals is doubled!
- Frost Arrow (Hold Down) will freeze wet foes in a block of ice. The freeze duration is based on how many seconds of wet they had left.
- Soul Arrow (Hold Forward) flies faster than other arrows. It can pierce through multiple target and ignores many projectile-repelling or destroying fields.
- Nitro Arrow (Hold Back) will create a large, powerful explosion on impact. This powerful arrow has a long recharge, so use it wisely!

FSPECIAL - Razor Leaf
Unleash a barrage of leaves upon your foes, pushing yourself back as you do so. This can be used to create space between you and your opponent or to simply pester them from afar. Be careful; each leaf is small and weak, and can be charged through by an incoming attack!

DSPECIAL - Bamboo Trap
Plant a small bamboo shoot in the ground. When an opponent walks over it, it will suddenly grow into several sharp bamboo spears, striking foes from below. You can also activate it manually by using down special again!

USPECIAL - Whirlwind
Play your ocarina and create a whirlwind. While grounded, it will form a small twister that travels forward, sweeping up projectiles and enemies it touches and launching them towards you at an upwards angle. Use it to protect yourself from projectiles or to set up for trick shots!
In the air, the whirlwind forms around you, creating a small damaging multihit around your body before launching you in at a 45 degree angle upwards in the direction you hold. Foes caught in the attack will be launched in the opposite direction, which may open up the possibility of a reverse edgeguard.

FINAL SMASH - Mighty Oak
Summon the great and powerful Mighty Oak to crush your foes! He's big, bulky, and hits very hard. After crashing down and launching his harpoon, he'll leave the battlefield for you to clean up the rest.

character's super fun, but has some issues. all projectiles get hard blocked by kragg's rock, even the smash attacks. neutral special's endlag doesn't have any buffer, which makes using anything afterward rather irritating. aerial up special has no variation, making recovery extremely predictable. forward tilt and grounded up special don't feel like they have any purpose in her kit as it is.

I love Anna, but I personally think some things are worth noting.
Forward Tilt is seemingly completely useless, it does little knockback, serves no purpose in combos or whatnot, and it's kind of slow.
Her recovery is very linear, maybe make it so you can angle Up Special it or maybe even charge it, just the off-stage version though.
Her Down Smash is easy to drop, but very spammable.
Her Neutral air is likely worth a nerf, maybe in damage.
That's just me though, still hella fun.

This character's great fun but a little bit ridiculous on the balancing end. Maybe slowing down the arrows falling (not up) on arrow rain so it's reactable (as right now they fall so quickly it's very difficult to react to and the arrows go offscreen as part of their travel) and a BIG nerf to Razor Leaf is in order. Razor Leaf is absurd. Doesn't stun on parry and the only real option is to jump it which just puts you right in the path of where Anna wants you. Most characters don't produce hitboxes large enough to deal with the attack and those with other projectiles just get utterly trumped by it.

This is a pretty fun character to play as. The one thing I would suggest is to add more hitstun on Up Tilt. That move can't even combo into itself lol. Other than that, pretty fine job :)
