BM Super Speed Settings

Description
The default F4-F6 speed settings can be customized to 1-10,000 speed, via sliders or text boxes. Note: the settings you set in the Mod options tab at the main menu do not currently apply in-game, you have to set the speeds you want while in-game for them to actually modify the F4, F5 and F6 hotkeys.

Defaults are:
F4 = 5
F5 = 20
F6 = 40

To better understand the speeds: if, for example, you set F4 to 10, it will be double the speed of what it is for vanilla. Be careful what speed you set, because if you set the values too high, the game can go by so fast your character will quickly die from hunger or thirst. Play around with what works best for you, and enjoy!

Last note, there is a bug I need to iron out where after you have modified the hotkey speeds and hit either F3, F4, F5 or F6, and then if you click on F2 it may not work properly. Clicking F2 may cause serious issues to the game speed and cause your screen to go black. For now, just don't click on F2 if you have pressed the aforementioned hotkeys. Other than that, I made it so that by clicking on F3, F4, F5 and F6 will resort to the vanilla speeds (F4 at 5; F5 at 20; and F6 at 40).

Okay, I'll take my time to figure it out.

Yeah, it won't work if you modify UI_EN.txt. You have to modify the ModOptionsSetup.lua file and find the function "local function SetupModOptions()" I believe all the Mod options text you are trying to change is within that function.
However, I translated the text without changing the source code — I only modified the content inside the quotation marks. But it didn't work in the game.

@我是一个小菜坤 Hello. There is no code written for the Sandbox settings. The mod's functionality is all within the Mods tab.
I've already translated the UI text into Chinese, but when I started a new save to test it, the text still showed up in English. Is this UI part of the game settings' mod, or is it from the sandbox settings when creating a game? (Of course, it can't be the sandbox settings since it's UI-related

@AnotherGuy After weeks of painful coding attempts, I FINALLY got text boxes in working properly!

@AnotherGuy Yeah, I hear you. It's because the maximum speed is set to 10,000, so any tiny movement of the slider will drastically change the numbers.

I have definitely thought about text boxes and I am not sure if it's possible at the moment, due to game engine limitations, but I could be wrong. I will look into it at some point and hopefully be able to get those in.

instead of sliders, any chance of a text box? sliders are harder to be exact

@suzinistherealjuno Great! I added in customization sliders, so you can change the F4, F5 and F6 hotkeys to whatever speed you want now! :D
