Heavily damaged items will cost more then 3-5 durability usually, because the way the mod works is it reduces the cost by a percentage, This is one that will reduce it by 75%.

I love this mod, but can you put together one that is a middle ground between Vanilla and This mod? e.g. Rather than needing 1 durability, set it to 3 or 5?

Alternatively, if you're unwilling, I am willing to figure out how to do it myself, just let me know.

Sure, i can make it tomorrow. How much costlier do you think would work well? I haven't been playing a ton recently so not sure what the economy looks like at end game.

yeah, i know, but it requires to buy a lot of repair kits, while traders dont have that many.. version with repair kit price boosted would be better i think

what about version with more costly repair kits? amount of money you get from repaired items is too great, especially in late game, where you are literally drowning in money.. if repair kits were costlier, it would reduce amount of money player earns, and it would make perks that boost the sell price of items more important.

Mods shouldn't affect achievements at all. That said, I haven't played much since the workshop mods have released and haven't done anything achievement worthy.
