Check my mods and you should find the invisible marker. There is an issue with the centering and zoom as things changed a little after patch 1.2. I'll try to get that sorted at some point.

BTW, Lawh - another mod idea might be to make your little avatar on the map invisible. Another feature I'm looking forward to in hardcore mode is that you don't see your little avatar on the map so you end up using maps like in the real world where you have to figure out where you are and how to get where you're going.

The hardcore mode goes a little too far though in that it makes combat difficult (like you don't get the greenshield thing anymore to know when to block) so in general mods that give you the hardcore stuff you want and let you not have the stuff you don't could be useful.

I rarely to never use fast travel and am looking forward to the hardcore mode (where disabling fast travel is only the beginning) but this will be useful for people who just want to eliminate aspect or for people like it could be useful until hardcore mode is available.

That said, I will say, as fast travel goes, KCD does it better than any other game as it shows you move along the map, time passes and you can have random encounters during fast travel.

It's much nicer not to fast travel anywhere but for some it's nice to have the option for sure. This sort of removes the thinking part and helps me focus on knowing I can't fast travel even if I wanted to.

Haha, I finished the entire game without knowing that. Makes sense in hindsight. Seems like a waste to fast travel in this game though, so I definitely get the idea behind this mod.

Yeah :D On your map, you can see fast travel locations in towns and so on. If you click them, you will automatically travel there on the map rather than in-game.

Wait, it's possible to fast travel?
