Artillery Turret MKII -Goliath- WeaponCore Edition -

WeaponCore 2.5 is required to use this mod.

This mod item was commissioned by Fade-Sevar who requested a heavy WWII style turret that looked like an upgrade to the existing artillery turret. And at the request of the players, this WeaponCore edition was created.

5x3x5 Heavy Artillery Turret
Custom Heavy Artillery Turret Ammo - Ammo name is "Artillery Shell MKII (Goliath)"
1x1x1 Artillery Shell Storage Rack - Decor item

<----- Notes ----->

  • This WeaponCore version included increased turret movement speed, faster reload time, and increased firing speed compared to the standard version.

  • This mod pack does have its own category in the menu. If needed, you can find items using the following:

    -Goliath
    -MKII
    -Artillery

  • Heavy Artillery Shell ammo can be found in the Large Assembler and the Industrial Assembler

  • After placing the turret, the AI targeting radius defaults to 600m - 800m depending on the size of your grid. Players will have to update the Max range for auto fire control

  • Turret idle movement default has been set to OFF

  • Small ship targeting default has been set to ON

  • Turret inventory is only large enough to hold a single 3 round salvo at a time but will pull new ammo after each barrel fires so ammo is ready for the next salvo

  • Horizontal movement maxes out at 180 degrees for full 360 movement.

  • Vertical movement maxes out at 35 degrees up and -5 degrees down to prevent model clipping and possible firing at other attached grid blocks

    If you run into any issues with this mod, please let us know so we can address them. We tested the current version with no issues, but that doesn’t mean running it alongside other mods will not cause unforeseen issues.

    <----- Known Issues ----->

    This is with WeaponCore - Turning off the hud before firing will sometimes cause the projectiles and particles to stop loading. Turning the hud back on will correct this.
